- - I love the euphoria of the first week of school. All of the excitement with none of the work! :) I've been enjoying my first classes and getting involved in the UW community. How completely wonderful it is to be working only 15 hours a week and doing only 14 credits this quarter. I got at least two good professors out of three - not a horrible ratio I guess.
Yesterday I picked up two free posters at the Henry Art Gallery and today I bought a nice Escher "Drawing Hands" print and a large Van Gogh poster, "Terrasse de cafe, la nuit..." These new possessions in turn inspired me to attack my room. For the first time in the past two years, I have my own place that I can decorate how I wish. It's my first real home out on this coast. So I put on a Pachelbel/Baroque favorites record and set to beautifying my great little nook under the stairs -- here are a couple post-attack shots:
