mom is working full time for the first time in my life.
i'm about to pack up and move to indonesia in a month.
my sister is taking college classes for the first time ever.
she also has her first job. at age 20.
my brother graduated high school on saturday.
he's getting ready to go mozambique to build a church.
then he's off to oklahoma for college.
my dad is working from home for the first time ever.
but he's thinking about dropping all that....
... to be a missionary.

i had never seen him before.
he was kneeling beside the road.
planting flowers around his mailbox.
he looked a little bit like santa clause.
my eyes darted across the road.
to the white cross.
mrs c had brought fresh flowers.
i can't drive down this road anymore.
without remembering.
the night this man killed richard.
my feet are dirty.
my shoulders are sunburnt.
no doubt about it...
... it is summer!

because jenny was dead.
