The love of Jesus is so deep. Like the ocean, even if you were to swim in the depths for your whole life, you would never reach the end.

Now...how do you convince those who only know a stream, or possibly have never known water at all, that they need the ocean?

And how is it possible to bring the ocean to the desert?

Jesus, rain in the desert. Be like water that cannot be contained. Spill out, even when I don't feel full of you. Be my words, and my food. Be my thoughts and my actions. Be in my hands and my face...so whether I recognize it or not, an oasis is growing that is impossible to miss...even in the desert.

Even the ocean has an end....is there anything in this world that goes on forever? I can't think of any one thing that really goes on and on like Jesus' love. Interesting....*thoughtful*
It was really fun meeting some people who knew you at ATF. You're awesome! I love you!
p.s. send me pictures of the new hair-do....

An old Arab proverb says, "What is the greatest crime in the desert? Finding water and keeping silent."

Thanks for your comment. Oh I MISS YOU!!! I am excited to see you and glad to know you want to see my pictures. Hopefully that will happen! It sounds like we have an exceedingly busy weekend!

Yeah, your sweatshirt is definitely in Spain with me. Thanks! It loves it here, but I told it it has to come back with me. Spain is very beautiful. I would recommend a visit someday!

Love you!

Hello, darling...
It's Liz. How are you? I miss you SO much! No matter where I am, or what I'm doing, I'm always missing people. It's part of the deep, beautiful blessing of having amazing relationships, I think. Anyway, I'm sorry that it's been so long since we've talked... life has been insane lately... but full of joy. I have to run, but I love you lots!

Hey Grace... :0) (It's so good to find your Xanga :0)
What a neat post. I was just pondering something similar that my counselor and her husband brought up last week. They were talking about thirsty people in the desert who drink sand thinking that it's water. The point the they brought up was that the people don't drink the sand because they are just so thirsty and desperate, but because they don't even know the difference between the sand and the water.
I thought how very interesting that whole concept was, and how so many people go for things or accept things not even knowing there is a difference or that there is something so different and so much better.
I think that's why Jesus's prayer was to bring heaven to earth, and that as much as we can do that, we should. :0)
I miss you, lady. Love you, and bless you!
