What a neat post. I was just pondering something similar that my counselor and her husband brought up last week. They were talking about thirsty people in the desert who drink sand thinking that it's water. The point the they brought up was that the people don't drink the sand because they are just so thirsty and desperate, but because they don't even know the difference between the sand and the water.
I thought how very interesting that whole concept was, and how so many people go for things or accept things not even knowing there is a difference or that there is something so different and so much better.
I think that's why Jesus's prayer was to bring heaven to earth, and that as much as we can do that, we should. :0)
