My favorite time of year has come. There is no greater weekend than that of the NFL Draft. Being a fan of a consistently bad team I've come to depend on the draft for the hope and excitement that the Titans have failed to show me during the season. I fear however, that the Titans will once again let me down by drafting an unprepared, scrambling quarterback that will lead to nothing more than high ticket revenue for the first few seasons and then disapointment as the world realizes this player will never win an NFL Championship. Although, if that's what you want Tennessee, then go for it. With that, I present you with my 2006 First Round Mock Draft, enjoy.

Happy Easter

In 1998, Mark McGwire hit 70 home runs and Sammy Sosa clubbed 66. McGwire looked like a bipedal Clydesdale swinging an elm tree; he was somehow far stronger at age 34 than he had been 10 years before. Sosa was (supposedly) only 29 in 1998, which seemed slightly more reasonable; of course, he happened to be a 29-year-old man with acne, so that was a little weird. But people loved these jovial manimals, and people wanted to see the never-beloved Roger Maris erased from the record books, and people casually wondered if maybe there was something wrong with the actual baseballs. Americans tend to be conspiracy theorists, but we're not particularly skeptical.
