| Cibo - A Little ItalyCibo Espresso, aka "Cibo", is arguably the most visited café here in Adelaide by myself and a few of my friends.

I don't remember how we got started with Cibo, but somehow it has almost become a tradition that we visit there on a regular basis. Honestly, not everything I ordered from Cibo has been fabulous, but the experiences are largely positive, with only one or two hiccups overall.
Here are some of the good stuff:
Affogato - Italian gelato topped with espresso. It's my favorite!
Cioccolata Italiana - Thick dark hot chocolate with a dash of cream.
 Baked Apricot Cheesecake
Something you might not know: Cibo was actually started in Adelaide by four Italians back in 1996. The variety of the caffé
is awesome, and the gelato is no doubt one of the best. In fact, it's so good that it's also a popular place for Cathay crews
to hang out during their overnights in Adelaide!
Therefore, there is little
wonder why Cibo has built up a significant brand loyalty in Adelaide, for locals and visitors alike!

| Emotional RollercoasterAfter a long wait, CP27 has obtained our FTA wings, which signify that we have all obtained our Hong Kong Commercial Pilot's License.

Now, if you have been reading my blog, then you would know that we should have started ATPL ground school last monday. Unfortunately, as I have predicted, it did not happen. Most of us are only about one-third through Mod 6, so everything else (ATPLs, JTS, Graduation) will have to be delayed accordingly.
I won't go into too much details, but let's just say that this delay could have been avoided. However, the mismanagement by the flight training managers here, along with their inability to look at the big picture, ensured that we would be delayed. They can only see so far ahead that if this was an airport, the RVR would never raise above the takeoff minima and operations would be impossible at all times.
The bad news doesn't stop here.
Oranje lost to Russia, 1-3, in the quarter-final of Euro 2008.

I'm not gonna lie. When Russia scored their 3rd goal of the game with 4 minutes remaining, leaving Oranje trailing by 2 goas, I cried, because I knew it was over.
See you in 2010, in South Africa. | | |
| VN5 Graduation + Oranje in Euro 2008Tonight, VN5 has graduated from
FTA.
I have gotten to know them quite well through
various activities, mainly involving playing and watching soccer
together. They will be leaving tomorrow morning to go back to Vietnam,
and they will be starting their ATPL ground school
soon.
All the best to all of you, and we'll surely
meet again in the future!
