dear world: I am done with the xanga affair.  it is over.  i have wasted all the time that I am going to waste here, and I am moving on.  so if you want to hang out, call me.  if you want to write, ...write me.  po box 15486 college station tx.  but dont post anything here because I won't be a'checkin it.  :)   all my love.

don't waste your life.  not that if you love xanga it follows that you are wasting anything.  but I was.  and I'm done.

So...5 days to ecstasy [Spring Break].  Maybe even 4 if my CVEN 305 prof is cool enough to give us a take home test.  If you are related/unhated by/married/ever see before/had a crush on a Dr. Hitchcock in the Civil Department, come on and do a girl a favor.

I will have everyone know that the Fourth Floor of M.J. Neeley Hall is going to be THE Place to Live in the Fall of this 2005.  I want everyone to note the distinct differences in the derriere quality of current fourth floor residents (as opposed to other human beings).  Don't cha know.  That's just ONE of the wonderful things that Neeley's Floor 4 will do for you.  Find out for yourself. *ahem*  That's M.J. Neeley Hall, Fourth Floor.

I really need to dry my hair before it does that really unbecoming frizzy thing.

What exactly is a "Shout Out"?  I am very not sure.  But I think that one of these "Shout Out"s is in order for Jayci, Rawan, and their [apparently hotel-loving] friend James.  Yes, quite in order.  They brought me Chili's Chips and Salsa.
this is me shouting out:

I'm going to dry my hair. bye

sorry the pink was overwhelming.

so...I am very much dying to go home.  If I could, I would so load up and trek home this weekend.  I miss my family.  Have I mentioned that I love them?  I do.  I want to take everyone I know home with me just so they can experience my family.  I haven't been home for lets see...4.5 weeks.   but soon and very soon.  Endurance

So for spring break, I am going home.  for all of it.  and I am going to LOVE it.  I think that me and my cool little sister (i don't have an additional uncool little sister....just one, and she is all things cool) are going to go to Six Flags one day and to a MercyMe concert that is at Six Flags.  YAY!  It is going to be the bomb-diggity.

Speaking of the bomb-diggity, being an RA is the bomb-diggity.  I love it.  I mean, of course there are things like...not having an kitchen...and people like Mandy moving off-campus.  Those are the only downsides though really.  everything else is very bomb-diggitesque.  and M.J. Neeley Hall is where the party is.  Well I mean not literally.  I will bust you if you have a party. but you get the idea.

M.J. Neeley - Alcohol + UberCool Ladies =  Party = The Place to be.

I should go and do something.  deuces

you know, I realized today that leprosy is a very interesting disease.  I think that I have a lot to learn from leprosy.  I used to be terrified that I was going to somehow catch leprosy.  Well anyway, people who have leprosy are basically thrown out of society.  Separated from their families and friends and everything they have ever known basically.  It's a terrible thing, but apparently leprosy is pretty contagious and apparently people are considered unclean when they have it.

Well anyway, to my point.  I think that sin is a lot like leprosy.  When we sin, and continue in sin, it not only separates us from fellowship with other believers,  it separates us from fellowship with God.  I think we could also venture to say that people who had leprosy were not experiencing "the abundant life."  well, when sin gets ahold of us, we experience guilt and shame and frustration with ourselves...definitely not the abundant life that we are promised in John 10:10.

Last thing:  in Matthew 8:2 it says, "a man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, 'Lord if you are willing, make me clean.' Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. 'I am willing,' he said.  "Be clean!"

and He does the same for us.
