okay, okay, so i've said it before a million times.. but its finally happened. im in love!! i've finally found someone who i can come home to every night who can't wait to see me after a long day.. who never tires of staring at me through big bubbly bright eyes.. who will only eat if its from my hands.. *sigh*.. aint love grand? so much affection and admiration from one creature...

his name? Jaxxx.. his species? male of course, siamese fighting fish.. red with blue streaks.. he lives in my room and occasionally visits downstairs to spend time with my mum who torments him with mirrors.. or my brother who likes throwing rocks on his head, in which case i have to rescue him and take him upstairs again.

hes so cute, when you forget the fact that you cant keep him with another male of the same species otherwise he'll rip him to shreds. but thats the way i like my men.. protective.. sooo sweet.. he'll swim straight over to my side of the bowl when i walk into the room.. he wont eat unless i hand feed him.. my mum calls him "badmaas".. meaning naughty.. she treats him like this cute new family member who is always getting up to cheeky antics..

so yes, we have a new family member that everyone has fallen in love with..
