So... remember the time that facebook decided to be RETARDED and make the high school facebook and the college face all one big giant facebook?? - YA

Bad Facebook!! BAD BAD!! alright....

For any and everyone who doesn't know, my dear dear friend Cody Veteto hit a tree while snowboarding in Winter Park this past Saturday morning. He was taken to the hospital in Denver where he is currently in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator. He has some fractures in his skull as well as on his face which is really swollen right now. The neurosurgeon has said that he is "cautiosly optimistic" and hopefully they will be able to take him off the ventilator in about a week or so - So please keep him in your prayers. This is SUCH a scary situation!

Ciao ~

You Know you're from Oklahoma when....

You say ya'll ... many times a day.

Bedlam is a BIG deal.

You can tell when it's tornado weather.

When you drive through a neighborhood anyone out walking will smile and wave at you.

You've worn flip flops in the winter

You have stopped to let a family of deer cross the road.

You thought the twister ride at Universal Studios wasn't windy enough.

You know who your neighbors are, how many children they have, and when one of them gets married or graduates.

There are at least 2 to 3 Sonics, McDonalds, and Little Ceasars in your town

You've been off roading - many times

You or someone you know was born, raised and still lives in the same town.

You know that Miami, Oklahoma and Miami, Florida are pronounced two different ways.

You plan events around football games.

You are a Cowboy or Sooners fan.

You learned how to do country and western dances at school.

A tornado warning siren is your signal to go out in the yard and look for a funnel.

You can properly pronounce Eufaula, Gotebo, Okemah and Chickasha.

You can remember the name of the last state legislator to introduce a bill involving castration, and he didn't mean farm animals.

You know exactly what calf fries are, and eat them anyway.

You think that people who complain about the wind in other states are sissies.

It doesn't bother you to use an airport named for a man who died in an airplane crash.

You have owned at least one belt buckle bigger than your fist.

A bad traffic jam involves two cars staring each other down at a four-way stop, each determined to be the most polite and let the other go first.

It doesn't seem odd to see the term "chicken fried chicken" on a menu.

You save all your life for your dream vacation, and use it to go to the OU/Texas game.

It doesn't seem peculiar if your sweetie says "I'm going in to town for something" even though you live in town.

You don't turn on the news until 20 minutes past the hour, because that's the only thing you care about anyway.

Your quarterback is hurt and it is the top story on the six o'clock news.

You keep track of the grain and hog futures on the radio.

You don't buy all your vegetables at the grocery store.

You go to the State Fair for your only vacation.

You get up at 5:30 A.M. and go to the coffee shop, where the waitress never asks what you would like. She already knows.

You are on a first name basis with the county sheriff.

You know what the "Sea of Red and White" is.

You think that using the elevator involves a corn truck.

You can drive 80 mph on a two-lane dirt road with one hand, but driving 45 mph on a four-lane expressway in a city scares you to death.

You use manure on your grass instead of Weed and Feed.

Your nearest neighbor is in the next zip code.

You know the difference between fee corn and sweet corn... while it's still on the stalk.

You wear cowboy boots to church.

You know that everything goes better with Ranch.

You learned how to shoot a gun before you learned how to multiply.

"You wanna Coke?" "Yeah." "What kind?" "Dr. Pepper."

You know what "Orange Power" and "Crimson & Cream" means.

You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends from Oklahoma.

Facebook has photo albums!!! that's about all i have to say -

So seeing as how it's been almost a month... i think it might be time to update?! what? i know right? Well you see, there's this addiction that's kind of swept over the entire campus called FACEBOOK  It's pretty cool i must say.

This past month has been filled with quite a bit!!! The weekend after Fanfare, i went down to ACU with Erin, Maribeth, Valerie, and Dylan to see Ryan, Cody, and Hayden in freshman follies. It was pretty darn good, I enjoyed it. It was really good to see all of them.

The week was then of course filled with classes, fun fun... then the next weekend i was finally here with nothing to do. It was a first which was nice in a way cause i got alot of sleep and my little group got to just hang out and enjoy the free time. Then the next week the school decided to make the topic of the week in chapel... pornography. why? i dont know. but it was wierd yet funny. This past weekend was fall break and i left the campus as fast as i could :) i stayed at steven's house friday and saturday while my roommate went to wichita to visit family and then on sunday, me, liz (my roommate), steven, will, and adam all went to my house to hang out until tuesday. We had quite a bit of fun... we went to the mall, glow bowling, the riverwalk, kaffe bona (of course!), and then the center of the universe! We also celebrated my little sister Laura's birthday (she's 13!! ahhh!!!). now we just had a short 3 day week - which was fun, except for the part about my car is officially screwed up, i dont know what's wrong with it... it's going to the shop tomorrow and they had better fix it cause it's getting really annoying to take it in all the time, you would think that they would check everything when it's in the frist time! < little vent session, my apologies.

This weekend has been fun. I had a date on fridy night and then i went to the OU vs. Baylor game on saturday with steven, stephen, liz, and tessa. OU barely won, which was pretty sad, but we still won. My date by the way was with steven... i must admit, he's a pretty cool guy. :)

I cannot wait for thanksgiving and christmas break! Leave me some love!! - ciao!

"I'm coming back to the heart of worship, cause it's all about YOU...."

I'm listening to that song right now as i type - i love this song

So fanfare is over, it was an absolute blast and i was so excited to see everyone who came! Maribeth, Ashley, and Erin all stayed in my room, late hours caused us not to party too much but there will be other weekends right?  It's so funny now becuase i have so much more free time than i did, yet i'm still staying up as late as i had been when i had practices.... o well. School's going pretty good, WPA (women pay all) week is this next week - i'm creating a mental list of who i'm going to ask  and then one more week before fall break! i'm pretty ready for a little break.

I hope everyone is having a good year!! -

Ciao
