| anyway...So, it's been a few years since i've been here. if anyone is still listening, my thoughts are moved:
www.jacobmusick.com
which for the moment reroutes to my blogspot site: www.jacobmusick.blogspot.com
which mainly contains images and peripherals surrounding my newfound profession as a graphic designer. the bit i'm working on at the moment though, is more typical for what would have been here in the past.

| broken at last. praise the Lord!
my best friend sent this to me:
Well if I come across a little bit distant It's just because I am Things just seem to feel a little bit different You understand
Believe it or not but life is not apparently About me anyways But I have met the One who really is worthy So let me say
Chorus: So long self Well it's been fun, but I have found somebody else So long self There's just no room for two So you are gonna have to move So long self Don't take this wrong but you are wrong for me farewell Oh well, Goodbye, don't cry So Long Self
Stop right there because I know what your thinking But no we can't be friends And even though I know your heart is breaking This has to end
And come to think of it the blame for all of this Simply falls on me For wanting something more in life than all of this Oh, can't you see
Chorus:
Farewell, Goodbye Oh so long self

| These are quite interesting. check them out if you have a chance, the one major problem with both is that six adjectives are insufficient for anyone, whether negative or positive.
the positive "Johari Window" the negative "Nohari Window"
i admit that i had trouble coming up with only six phrases. in both cases i wound up with about 8 or 10 before pairing down to the few allowed. please, if you only feel like completing one of the two (although they only require a few moments) do the negative. i'm far more interested in critique than praise. at least, i desire to be.

| well everyone. it's 11:40 at night on my last day at home, at least for a little while. i don't normally write 100percent 'this is my life' type posts, but i did feel like this was important enough to make mention of it.
for those of you who do not know, i'm leaving for roanoke in order to begin a sort of internship under our pastor. i'm incredibly excited about what we're going to be doing, and not so excited about leaving everyone at home. there's probably a tremendous amount i could say, all the details of the move, the plans and goals, and all that, but to tell the truth, i'm dreadfully tired. there's a two hour drive coming up for me in the morning.
i'll let you know when i'm going to zimbabwe, and i'll maybe even post transcripts of my first sermons/teachings.
goodnight. |
