| hey!
How are you guys? I feel abit out of touch with everyone outside of mcgill, which is like, everyone :P
I just got over a pretty severe spell of 'cold'. Mom thought I had meningitis, as you can imagine she called several times a day to make sure i'm still breathing xP I had these really really REALLY bad headaches, which gets especially bad towards the end of the day. I've been trying to keep my body active, you know, which raises your immune system, but apparantly one's not to exercise when sick..>.> anyway! All better today =)
I got up pretty early for a saturday - 6:30am. Cleaned my room thoroughly! During these past few days, with school and this crazy headache my room's condition got worse and worse lol. It was unlivable until today! I also did something new: put up pictures on the emtpy side of the wall. Pics of family, friends, graduation, prom, hangouts, ah the memories came flooding back. So much has happened in the past few years, an especially in the past year, it's hard to imagine even MORE will come. how is it, that one is so lucky to be able to live such experiences, to try new things, to laugh, smile, cry and be proud. I shall look at that wall when I feel down, to remind myself of the things that has happened =)
On nov. 14th, Elie Wiesel, a nobel peace prize laureate is coming to montreal! I am going to see him for free ;) After I told dad about this, he decided to drive down that night and see this guy too! lol, so apparantly I get a ride home instead of taking the bus at 11pm! I'm going to be in Ottawa from Nov 14-22nd. An entire week can you believe it?? xD
What happened was, I have to be in ottawa on the 15th and 21-22nd. Joan gave me the brilliant idea of just staying the entire time, instead of wasting time travelling back and forth. Of course, i'll be terribly behind in school and such, but hey! I'll try to do some work while in Ottawa. >> on the 15th, I am recieving this award I somehow randomly won . something like "young philanthropists". Very awsome surprize eh? there may even be a little monetary incentive? Nov 21-22nd, I get to shadow an MP! I still dont know who it is, or how long i will be shadowing this person. This is my little pilot test for my future: is politics a possibility for me? This is through an initiative with mcGill called "Women in House". =) looking forward to it.
The sad news is mom and bryan are officially leaving for china on the 26th of Nov. which is part of the reason for my drastic decision to stay the entire week in Ottawa. They're going to be in china for a couple of months-years. So, if i cant go to china during xmas i wont be seeing either of them until summer! =:( which totally sucks, beacuse i'll miss all the little growing up perks of bryan. man, that kid is pretty darn smart, he's beating everyone, actually, in connect 5! He's really got abit of talent for this kind of thing. He beat this older boy, who's quite smart, 6 times in a row >.<" feel bad for the other boy.
I have another chem midterm this wed, thus, much studying to be done tonight and tmr. I already had 3 midterms for all the sciences plus 2 midterms for bio/chem lab exams. biology is by far the hardest of all the sciences. And chem is pretty relaxing. Chem was my first exam and totally brought the confidence up, only to be crushed by biology! I am going to work hard in bio, and ace the final. Let me know how you're doing! it would be uber cool if you snail-mail me =D

send me your address and you may be surprised by a letter one day! enJOY the weekend and the chilly but beautiful fall weather.

| ok, so it was my bad =.= the question was asking for the INVERSE of f(x) as in, 1/f(x). The notation has a VERY SLIGHT variation in it. f(x)-1 instead of f-1(x) [the -1 is a super script] so, the answer was simple -1/10. lol, i got it before the deadline *phew* thank you guys for helping!
2 midterms coming, tmr=chem, bio is on thur. I am sSOOO stressed it's unbelievable. biology is puuure memorization, i'm beginning to hate the course. also have my physics assignment due tonight. need to get somework done! best of lukc

| Hey guys, my math assigment is due tmr night at 11:30. I have no idea what the answer is, or how to approach this:
lim (x-> a) f(x) = -10
what is the lim(x->a) f(x) inverse =?
to make this easier to understand: the limit as x is approaching "a" of f(x) is equal to -10, what is the limit as x is approaching "a" of f INVERSE at x?
if you know please tell! >.<
