赤西仁が休業…KAT-TUN脱退濃厚

　デイリースポーツの既報通り、人気絶頂のアイドルグループ「ＫＡＴ-ＴＵＮ」の赤西仁（２２）が芸能活動を休止することが１２日、ジャニーズ事務所から正式発表された。休止の理由は語学留学とし、期間は当面、半年間。一方で休止期間の延長も示唆した上で再開を未定としており、このまま脱退の可能性が濃厚だ。ＫＡＴ-ＴＵＮは今後、赤西抜きの５人で活動を続ける。
　超人気アイドルグループで亀梨和也（２０）と人気を二分してきた赤西の突然の脱退の可能性が強まった。この日、本紙報道を受け、ジャニーズが「このたび半年間ではありますが、（海外）留学を認めることといたしました」と発表した。事務所のホームページでもファンに向けて発表した。
　しかし、期間については異例の“追記”付き。「留学期間が延長されることもございますので、芸能活動の再開は、今のところ未定とさせていただいております」としている。第一報は「半年間」とだけ発表するのが通例だけに「活動再開は未定」と発表せざるを得なかったところに、深刻な事情が垣間見える。このまま脱退の可能性も捨て切れない。
　活動休止の理由について「以前から赤西は海外で勉強したいという希望を持っていた」と説明。一方で「まだデビューして１年もたたない新人であり、ファンのみなさま、関係各位へのご迷惑を考えて、これまで延期しておりました」と説得を続けてきたことを示唆した。それでも大好きな英語を勉強したい、という赤西の強い決意が揺るがず、休止を認めた、としている。
　ＫＡＴ-ＴＵＮは亀梨主演で１４日からスタートする日本テレビ系ドラマ「たったひとつの恋」（日曜　後９・００）の主題歌を新曲として発売予定だが、９月末に行われたレコーディングに赤西だけが不参加。さらに１１、１２日にわたり都内で行われたとされるジャケット撮影にもその姿はなかった。“亀赤”コンビに代わり、田中聖と亀梨が最前列の“亀田”新コンビのパターンが撮影されたという情報もある。
　ファンの間では、ここ数カ月、赤西が「疲れているのでは」「元気がない」などと心配する声が上がっていた。ジャニーズの今年の顔として８月に「２４時間テレビ」のメーンキャスターを務めたＫＡＴ-ＴＵＮ。今後は赤西抜きの５人で活動していくが、甘いマスクと抜群の歌唱力、時折みせる寂しげな表情と照れ屋の笑顔の赤西は唯一無二の存在。多くのファンが活動再開を願っている。

Does anyone know Thai? I had a tough time finding English translations for their song "Ruang Lek Kaung Tur". It drives me nuts as I don't know that they are singing.  Please help. Anyone?

Captures of GYM in Hey Hey Hey. I'm glad that Downtown is decent enough not to hit GYM. The pictures that I posted earlier, from their PV, don't do justice. They look so much better here. Mike's smile is just so adorable, and Golf looks kind and well mannered. M said that Mr Tomo is harsh when it comes to work LOL. For siblings, they look incredibly alike. Mike is the one on the left, Golf is on the right. Btw, GM are their nicks, not their real name.

GYM Kity ~ YamaP's new temp unit. Hmm... lets talk about Golf and Mike. First, I thought they were twins. They reminded me of the Izaki twins. Oh how I love the Izaki twins. I thought GM were from Kansai. They have that Kansai look and hairdo, plus they are so tall. I thought they were around 15 ish, how wrong was I. Golf and Mike are Thai. They are brothers of ages 19 and 16. They were chosen for Tai Jrs for Johnny's international and they debute as singers in Thailand.  I even saw their debute video - Bounce. That was my first time seeing a Thai video and it felt rather strange. G and M did gave me that kakkoi feeling, but their line in English were a turn off. Anyways, I hate to say this, but all men look good wearing black school uniform. All men look good with trandy hair style. Not to mention, G and M adopted the Japanese style, rather, they are polished to look like a Johnny. Typical Thai do not look like that.? (adding a question mark since I'm not Thai so I don't know much about it).  The idea that Johnny goes around the world to look for "their family members" (meaning, someone who possesses features that qualifies as a Johnny's Jr) makes me laugh. (my theory anyways)

Somethings worth are to be mentioned in their video - Mike looked good in blue contacts (honestly, I can't tell who's who. I'm guessing Golf  is the one with bleached streeks). I wonder if YamaP's clothes suppose to make him look Thai. (Johnny's esp. NEWS have the tendency to wear strange looking clothes) Oh well, the song is good and I can't get it out of my head.
