Hyannis & Cape Cod & Martha's Vineyard!

I went on a weekend get-a-way to Hyannis & Cape Cod & Martha's Vineyard with my two lovely BPS sisters, Xue and Linda.  It was very relaxing!  Out of the 3 places, I luved Martha's Vineyard the most.  Martha's Vineyard is a small island off the U.S. east coast, to the south of Cape Cod, MA.  MV is known for its seafood. So for lunch, we had a lobster roll, clams, and fried scallops.  We went around to many shops hehe.  Anyhoo, although the trip was short, I had a very memorable time with my girls. =)

Where shall I go next? It's just the beginning of summerrrrrr hehs

Taste of TIME SQUARE! ~.06.02.08.~

tasteoftimesq

WHEN: Monday, June 2, 2008 from 5pm to 8:30pm
WHERE: West 46th Street between Broadway & Ninth Ave., including historic Restaurant Row.
ADMISSION: Admission to the festivities is free.

"A TASTE OF TIMES SQUARE" offers visitors a "taste" of the area restaurant's signature dishes and showcases the variety of international foods that can be found in Times Square. The festival's offerings reflect the neighborhood's status as the Crossroads of the World, serving everything from Spanish tapas to Indian samosas to American ribs. The hugely popular Festival attracted over 20,000 attendees last year.

The Festival features more than 50 of Times Square's greatest restaurants, including Becco, Chop Suey, Bourbon Street, Virgil's, and Utsav. And to entertain the eyes and ears as well as the nose and tastebuds, there will be an international array of live entertainers sprinkled throughout the Festival - flamenco, belly dancing, doo wop, blue grass, drumming -- and a swing tent with music and dancing all evening.

There is no admission to the Festival and tickets valued at $1 can be redeemed for "tastes" at each of the booths. Tickets are available beginning at 3pm on at the ticket trailer on 46th Street on the day of the event.
