| So, I've decided to work on some Mid-March Resolutions. . . 1. Follow my heart. 2. Stop being petty. (For instance, I was kinda ticked off at Rachele for a really ridiculous reason. . . . I'm not anymore though because it was stupid of me to get so angry) 3. Stop telling secrets. (even though they are secrets I have intrusted to people, they never remain as such, so basically, I can only trust my sisters) 4. Stay the course. Okay, so those are a little poor, but I have to start somewhere. Did you KNOW that tapioca is a starch found in the cassava (or yuca) root. It is native to South America and the West Indies, and the Mayans were the first to harvest it. The yuca root also contains cyanide. The Mayans discovered a method to extract it and put it in their blow darts, leaving the root free for eating. This brings me to the question, is tapioca naturally in those delicious little balls for pudding or is it processed into them by machines? hmmmm. . . . Furthermore, tapioca is used in bread flour, laundry starch, and a type of alcoholic brew. Interesting huh! On Friday night I went to the boys basketball game in Allentown with Evan, Andy, Nate, Rachele, Megan, and Nikki. We got very lost trying to find Parkland High School and started walking around in an Allentown ghetto. We stopped at a Taco Bell with about two minutes until game time so Nate and Nikki could pee, whereupon Evan and Andy started pouring over some maps (I don't know who they were trying to impress with their skills in direction because we had been lost for the past fifteen minutes). After I got directions from a kind man at Taco Bell, we found the school just in time for tip-off! Overall the night was pretty fun! Saturday was soccer practice from 8-11:30. It was pretty fun. We did timed sprints and what not. . . I'm not too fast at sprinting, and I really had an urge to tackle the fast people in front of me, but I didn't. Matt Glinski poured the foundation for his house at around noon on Saturday. . . there were a lot of people over there. Kurt and I went to Little Buffalo to go for a walk and kick around my new school issue soccer ball. When I was going out of our driveway I saw Erin and Jenn over at Matt's house watching the cement men, so I waved and tried to get a better look at what was happening and while I was getting a look, I swerved off the road to within two feet of our chestnut tree! I felt pretty stupid because I had to do some drastic swerving so as not to hit the tree and to get back on the road. Ha! I laughed at myself. ANywho! I had a wonderful time at Little Buffalo, it was truly a beautiful day! Kurt and I worked on our juggling skills (I really want to get better at it), and long passes and the like. At one point I decided to have Kurt throw a ball over my head and then I would kick it back at him (while I was facing away from him. . . . you know what I mean?) hahaha ohhh man! Well, the first time I try it, Kurt throws the ball, I do a spectactular jump into the air, kick the ball as hard as I can backwards, whereupon the ball smacks me in the head at mach (sp?) speed, both of my feet were are in the air already, so I fall FLAT on my back! It was something you would see in a movie! I hit the ground and was laughing so hard that I was crying. . . . I had a headache from hitting myself in the head! The park was really crowded too. There were random groups of people on the dam that stopped and started laughing, and about four people walking by me when it happened that burst into hysterics also! If anyone would like to see the stellar move I pulled on myself, I'll reinact it for you! Kurt and I laughed for a good 7 minutes straight, both with tears in our eyes! Hmmm, I guess that's all for now! Have a wonderful week! Always, Sarah

| I have decided that today would be the perfect day to update my xanga. Let's see, where to begin. . . . I woke up and went to church (I heartily enjoy going to church, it puts me in a splendid mood), then I helped Mermo pack up and said my goodbyes . After that I spent an hour on French homework, whereupon I decided it was time to clean my room (I could barely see the FLOOOR!) So I cleaned it, rearranged it, and man did I feel complete, BUT WAIT! The day was still young, so I strapped on my walking shoes and went exploring. I walked up to the farmers pond, to the rocks (a huge grouping of rocks with large caves in them), through the woods, through some farm fields, and finally back home. I felt sort of like Maria from the Sound of Music on one of the hills so I sang at the top of my lungs just to hear my echo! Gosh, I love these sort of afternoon walks! When I got home I made myself some tomato soup for dinner and now I'm here. Hmmmm. . . I went skiing on Tuesday with Kurt, Evan, and Merm! It was soooo much fun! We went to Damons Grill after and didn't get home until 1:30 a.m.-ish, and SWEET MOTHER OF TABETSY the food was absolutely delicious! Friday I went to see Boiling Spring's musical Once Upon a Mattress with Adam, Nikki, Pat, Megan, and Evan. The lead girl in it was one of the two girls that stayed at my house for District Chorus. . . . random! She remembered me and thought that we had come specifically to see her, which was far from the truth . Lastnight Miriam and I played cards and made "Sweet Couscous" which turned out to be CRAP couscous! It was sooo discusting! Evan randomly stopped by to say hi and return the stuff I left in his car from skiing on Tuesday, so Mermo, Evan, and I sang songs together, played the piano, and danced like it was 1948. It was a rocking good time! Okay, that's enough of this silliness, I might update in a few months! OH YEAH! I have a date for PROMMM! Furthermore, Megan is taking Tyler McCarty! That's it! Have a wonderful Spring of 2006 everyone! | | |

| Bonjourno! Well, I haven't really written lately. . . in a few months actually, but dont worry this was planned. I didnt want it to look like i desparately wanted to write stuff in here so i decided to lay low for awhile. . . didnt want anybody to catch on. Yup, well lets see, Christmas came and went and gosh, I'm going through sibling withdrawl. Its been almost two months since they all had to leave me, and I miss them sooooo much. I love them all so much and miss their advice and fun and talks we have. . . goshhhh. On the bright side though! the play is this week: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! Miriam, Rachael, and Nathan are coming home to see me! Uhhhm, I'm pretty content with things right now. . . worried about my religion in my life and what it truly means to me. . . it means a wholelot, but sometimes i wonder if i live my life like it does. hmmmmm Argh though, I'm still furious at president Bush. . . arghhh. This war in Iraq is insane. Stinking insane. He has sent our men to die for a grudge and oil. . . he says we're fighting a war on terror when in truth, did Iraq ever attack us? Has Iraq ever posed as a serious threat to the United States? Not so much, no. Our men have died because Bush has decided to give the gift of democracy to another nation. Currently 1477 men from the United States have died. We've killed a minimum of 16036 Iraqi civilians with our misguided bombs and air raids. No one's reporting that, we rarely hear of all the innocent Iraqi women and children we've killed. Thats what WE'VE done. Sad to say, democracy doesnt work in all spaces of the world, even though in our eyes it is the only correct way, in some cultures, as strange as it may seem, democracy doesnt work. I find it odd that the U.S.A, a country that hasn't existed for half as long as Iraq, is telling Iraq how to govern themselves. Its true, Saddam was a cruel man and had to be taken out of power and all, but I find it odd that we have taken a blind eye to the crisis in the Sudan. There's a flippin genocide going on, literally hundreds of thousands of people have been killed, villages burned, and over 2 million people displaced and thrown from their homes in Darfur, and we're too busy disputing over oil and killing more people. I guess I'm just really emotional and in my eyes nothing that happens is right. . . . but heck it isn't! This world just isn't fair. Love, Sarah | | |
| I'm so angry right now. Angry in such a way that makes you sad and upset. . . about everything. Not just things that are happening in my life, but in the world. . . i just feel like sitting down and crying and sleeping for the next month. I dont want to be a teenager anymore. . . i want to be a ballerina living in the 1920's in France. -Sarah | | |
