Name: Mister Country: United States State: Oklahoma Metro: Edmond Birthday: 3/17/1985 Gender: Male
Interests: Music is an interest. Does that shock you considering everyone seems to have this interest? How about this one: I am interested in fossilized dog poo. I bet you've never seen that one before. I could also say I'm interested in the origin and evolution of the belly-button fuzz. Or how about the process of turning a rocking-chair into a watermelon? Yeah, those are great interests. Expertise: I am an expert at making Kari smile. Of course, I am an expert at many other things including but not limited to everything. I have a huge...talent? Occupation: Artist

| You know something's wrong when I make a postAt least two of you will know what this means.
The dreams woven, the threads now frayed A demon has planted himself The scissors now dropped, the blanket is red Coldness enters No needle to mend, the One is now Two There's a place for you on the hill now No words should be said, no comfort in silence Welcome back my friends.
I wanted to kill them, the demons I created. They flourish on my pain though, and they are getting fatter by the hour.
| The Mechanics of Our SchoolHalfway through the semestar, here's what I think my classes' goals are.
1. 20th Century Music Goal: to give students an understanding of our musical background through the exploration of a multitude of resources, including personal letters, articles, and essays from major points in the timeline. The student is seen as a human being, capaple of independent thought and encouraged to voice their reaction in professor led discussions.
2. 18th Century Counterpoint Goal: to give students a hands-on understanding of counterpoint according to Bach in the same manner birds are taught to fly. As a buffer, students are able to learn from their mistakes through rewrites with guidance, in class examples, and explanatory lectures including in-class compositions and demonstrations. The student is seen as inteligent and capable of greater thought, and is encouraged to push themselves in their studies.
3. Orchestra Lit Goal: to give students a wider knowledge of "commonly performed" repertoire through the use of trivia and in-class listening. The average day is started between five and ten minutes late, with minimal preparation, and a guarenteed listening for the majority of the class period. Scores are provided to help with visual/audio recognition. Tests are majorly aural recognition, with random trivia from class thrown in. The student is seen as a thing bound to fail in the world.
4. Orchestra Ensemble Goal: create unity through ambiguity and uncertainty. Create an ensemble capable of producing a concert under any circumstances. The student is seen as an experimental body.

| The Sisterhood!I jost got an email from my school to "Join the Sisterhood! The sisterhood of African American Students!"
Come on. I have a penis. I'm Hispanic. Do I want to join a gang, thereby promoting prejudices supposed to be gone by now? And on that point, where's the invite for "The Brotherhood! The brotherhood of Caucasian American Students!" Oh, right, that would be frowned upon. Or get me shot.
| What has changed? From past to present I don't recognize. There are pieces, scattered accross all that I am. A whirlwind of memories, some of the past some of the future. Parts of me are still alive in a world that no longer exists, while other parts are living a life that will never be. How do I rid myself of these thoughts? How do I forget the past and the future, and live in this moment with no ambitions or dreams, desires or regret? When will I quit blaming myself. From two lives to three. I know where I am, but the story isn't over. | | |
