| Tomorrow is my last day of training for Pappadeaux! I am very excited! I had a meeting with one of the managers tonight and she told me that I was doing very well and gave me a few things to work on. She told me that the customers love me and I should do well working there.... One of the things she told me to work on was prioritizing what I need to do... but I think part of my problem with that is I'm still not 100% sure of what I am supposed to be doing... so I think that request is definitly duable. She told me they were going to start me out with 2 tables and see how I do... Hopefully my first day as an actually waitress will be Monday.. I am sooo excited but at the same time I have a lot of things I am scared about. Oh well, I am sure it will be great! I have already gotten a $50 dollar tip from one table and had a table today call the manager over so they could comment on my trainer and I's service! Anywho, so if you are reading this and it's before Sunday morning please take a moment to pray that I do well with this last training session. | | |

| Happy Halloween! I found a job!!!! Yeah me! I am in training to be a server at Pappadeaux in Arlington. So far my training sessions have been fun- lots of free food. i am having trouble memorizing all the menu items and all the other stuff you have to know work there- the bad part of all of this is that they give you a preshift and post shift test and if you don't make 90% or better you have to retake the shift! it stinks cause it's a lot of info! but i am determined to make it through training so i can be making lots of money! i've heard they have amazing tips there- which is very exciting news! did anybody dress up for halloween? i did i was a go go girl from the 80's! i had a mini dress and gogo boots- i tried to do the eyeliner but my hand is not steady enough to do it..oh well! my friends heather and marissa had a 70's themed party on saturday night- it was a lot of fun seeing everybody dressed up. i have been so blessed to find a church home in the area.. if you live in fort worth- arlington i highly suggest travis avenue baptist church.. i've been so welcomed and found a lot of friends there.. which is an amazing blessing!guess that is it, hope everyone had a fun halloween! | | |
| i need a job!!!!!!! any takers? any good sites or tips for jobs in the dfw area? i'll take whatever i can get! hmph! i'm pathetic! i'm itchy to travel... i want to travel... i feel like i'm getting to be to old to take random trips to different places. like i look at my schedule and all i see is school and getting out in a timely manner- like i don't want to be there for the rest of my life!
there is one trip to prague that florida state is offering to bachelors of social work and to master's of social work that is offered this summer... could be cool... anywho, i hope i have some kind of money when i am older or learn to be a good money manager so i can go and take cool trips.... i love to travel! i hope that it will be a part of my future and not just a college thing. anywho i know that was random.. this whole post is random.. but i did post grace- so now it is your turn to respond... so respond- respond- respond! lol.. i truely am pathetic! *make note of what i'm listening to- i love this song! i think it's super fun!
