| I'm getting married in six months. | | |
| Heh - yoh"one, two, three, four, five toes-es"
So my life has been pretty full of little kids lately. From the little girl I'm watching right now to the 12 kiddos between 18 and 24 months in the nursery at church (one little guy had lots of fun sticking his face between the rungs on the side of the rocking chair and saying "heh-yoh" each time. ).
I'm going to miss trying to decifer if this two-year-old is saying "giddy-up" or "Jacob" and discussing such deep topics as if toes can eat carrots (she thinks they can ). And I'm really gonna miss "my kids" - the baby is the cutest little fellow and the rest of them are growing so much that it seems a pity to miss 4 months of their lives.
But there are some pretty significant positives to going back to school that are making me very excited, so oh well.
cya soon. :) | | |
| I used to like rain. It was nice. Now I don't like rain. I miss sunny days. I miss seeing the stars and swimming and sitting on the roof and walking and all those things that are generally done when it's not raining.
I don't think my car likes rain either. Last Saturday I went out to breakfast with a friend before work and locked my keys in my car. On Tuesday, when I was driving to work there, was so much water on the streets that my car decided it had had enough and quit. Thankfully, after thinking about life on the side of the road for a little while it recovered. Today, I accidentally left the lights on when I parked at work and the car died. So I got to jump my car in the rain.
But I like my job. I get to serve lots of tea and yummy food. Someday I'm going to give in and buy myself a piece of the chocolate fudge cake. And I came home to 7 little kids at my house today. That was fun.
| Other Happy Things...So I need a name for our pool vacuum.
The funky little guy like to try to run up the walls of the pool and spray people sitting on the side with his tails. He's quite amusing to watch and quite unpredictable too. Never can be sure when he's going to pop up spitting water like a maniac...he reminds me of a spunky side-kick character (like a Tristin... ).
I think I like him. | | |
| Happiness is...- being home
- waking up with three little girls bouncing on you
- holding a teeny, tiny, beautiful baby
- having Percy back on the internet
- dreams that come true and magical memories...
. . . but I miss you all so much.
