I should be more careful.  Sometimes Sri Lankan's are sneaky and they write things on your xanga when you walk away from your desk.  It would be kinda cool to be Sri Lankan though wouldn't it?...

He's Alive!  I've had so many people ask me why my xanga never gets updated, that I thought it would be a good idea to please the masses.

First things first - little story about Joshua here.

We had some friends over last night that have a little girl named Sophie.  She's half Korean and half caucasion, and is very very cute.  I'm not sure if Joshua thought so as well, or if he was just excited to have a new kid around to play with, but he seemed pretty enthralled with her.  Anyhow, we're potty training Josh right now, and so after dinner as we were talking, I told Josh to head to the bathroom so he could use the "facilities".  As he was going, he was walking and trying to talk and look at Sophie all at the same time - when you aren't watching where your going, you tend to run into things.  Josh rammed his poor little face right into the corner of the wall because he wasn't watching where he was going.  Once I knew he was o.k., all I could do was laugh - it looked like  a scene out of Tommy Boy.  So anyways - there's a little something about my cute kids.

For those of you jr. highers who are reading this - i'm curious what you thought about Sundays message on bringing heaven or hell to earth.  The whole concept has really become real for me these last couple of weeks, and it's something i'm trying to work on in my own life.  Just wondering if you had any thoughts.

Gotta jet for now, but i'll try to update more often....

Well, apparently i'll only update this thing once every month or so at the rate i'm going.  I did however just get back from my Kentucky golf trip with my brother!  TONS OF FUN!!!  Awesome golf courses, good weather, fun times, and some not so good golf from either of us...oh well, still sunny and warmer than Michigan.

So when we got to Kentucky, we were gonna stay with my brothers old friend from college.  It took us forever to get ahold of him, but we finally did.  So, we showed up at around 10:00 Thursday night and went in.  His wife was home (Don works the late shift), and she is definitely a native Kentuckian...If only you could hear the accent in my head right now.....WOW!  So they have these two HUGE dogs - 180 lbs and 140 lbs - she's still a puppy too...

Have you ever seen Beethoven the movie?  Turner and Hooch?  Needless to say, I got slobbered on ALL OVER THE PLACE!!  It was SOOOOO nasty!  After getting slobbered on, we got to watch her feed the pet boa constricter she has....CRICKET!  That poor mouse didn't have a chance...

You bet, swallowed it whole - one of the most disturbing thngs i've ever seen.  I think next year we may spring for the hotel room and pay the extra money - I slept like 2 hours that night because I kept dreaming I was in the animal kingdom, and when I wasn't scared out of my mind, I couldn't get passed the fact that I was laying on a bed covered in dog hair, and dried doggy drool...

The next night after golf, we took them out for dinner like we always do traditionally to say thank you for letting us stay with them.  Oh yeah, they requested the Chinese buffet....cricket, cricket, cricket.....there is NOTHING worse than a BAD chinese buffet at 9:00 p.m.  I take that back, there is one thing worse - a bad chinese buffet at 9:00 p.m.with a woman who sounds like she came straight off the beverly hill billies and who would rather talk about her 2 monstrous drooling dogs than she would about real human topics of conversation like say - the weather, politics, pop culture, movies, or even Michael Jackson's trial...o.k. - maybe not that - but you get the general idea.

Needless to say, we had an awesome time, but if I never see one of those dogs again, or have to watch a snake swallow a mouse whole - it'll be too soon...

Apparently I don't update this very often...

Been planning my brother and I's annual golf trip to Kentucky at the end of February. We're stoked about it. Once a year we get together and go away for a weekend just the two of us to play golf. It's an awesome time for my bro and I - and I can't wait. Not only are we playing two of the nicest golf courses in Kentucky...but we really have a good chance to talk and hang out without kids, etc. I will however miss the family very much.

Gotta jet - almost time for our trinity worship night. Hope to see you guys there...
