ok, one more question for ya... i don't really need to use one frequently, but i want to get a printer to have on hand for those quickie-type jobs (instead of waiting till the next morning to print at the office)... any suggestions on a small, non-business looking printer that also copies and scans? i don't really need anything fancy, but i'd like to get something decent for the price...

| combo #2...
so i freely admit that i dress pretty bummy... but c'mon people...
i'm working from home today b/c of internet issues at the office... lunch time comes around, and i throw on some clothes (i like to live as naked as possible) and walk downstairs to get some food... i check out the new deli down the street, get myself an italian sandwich to go, and head back home... on the way back, i decide to drop into the florist downstairs... i'm looking for a plant for my place, and figure these people could give me a suggestion or two...
i walk in, carrying my bag of food and a menu from the deli, wearing a commerce bank t-shirt, running shorts and flip flops... when i walk in, one of the women working there kept staring at the menu... a few awkward moments of silence passed, as i looked at her looking at my menu... i then tell her, "oh, this is just a menu i grabbed"... to which she responds, "we didn't order anything"...
"what?"
"we didn't order anything"
"um, i'm not delivering anything"
bitch thought i was bringing her chinese food...
and if ur wondering, she was no help w/ the house plant either...

| hd...
my external hard drive has gone kaput, kinda... the thing won't turn on... anyone know what i can do to grab the stuff from the thing? someone suggested taking it out of the enclosure (the hd's a fantom drives product) and putting it into a dock, like this one from thermaltake...
is that the best thing to do? any other suggestions? all my crap is on this, so hopefully it's salvageable...
