| Well were back in the country now. This summer was an interesting experience. Africans have such a high view of the spiritual world and spirituality they are phenomenal evangelist, and are really big on prayer and fasting. Also, they really love the Lord. This was really inspiring. Also, the ACU girls that we got to work with for four weeks were great and a lot of fun. Besides all that our animal experiences were also extremely funny. We rode camels in Mali, a baboon stole our chicken, Sarah was bit by a monkey, we stoned a cobra, got up close in personal to some elephants, we set on the back of a crocidle and we think Ghana's national animal should be the goat since you see them on countless ocassions daily and they always manage to baaa everytime you're eating a meal. Europe was also a blast. Although we had something happen to us in every country. We missed our flight from London to Paris because the bus was late, we lost each other at the Louvre, in Rome we forgot to write down the address of our hotel when we left to go exploring and couldn't remember how to get back, her cousins forogot to pick us up in Venice and we had to spend the night at the airport, and in Greece I thought the church had moved because they took all their signs down for the Olympics and in typical Greecian style still haven't put them back up yet. Yet what's travel if you don't have something happen to you everywhere. All those things are kind of funny now looking back upon them. It's also really great to be back. I have missed all of you guys, especially Matt, Ben, Toby, and Brandon. Oh yeah Smallville night begins anew Sep. 29 and you owe me a rematch in tennis Toby. This time Samprass will prevail! :) | | |
