| i noticed that i had 64 credits so was gonna buy some stuff on xanga (like minis or whatever) but then i noticed that xanga sucks balls. It's got so many bugs and interface problems. I couldn't figure out how to use my credits relatively fast, then the help had no help, i couldn't see teh 2nd page of a search result and a pop down menu was below other buttons/graphics, but still partly visible. and clicking on minis on a menu type area pointed me to misc. lots of other random shitty stuff. why didnt they just stick with the old until the new actually works...

| the internet is suspiciously lacking in rules for finding friends (chinese game where you play with lots of decks and it's crazy). Maybe it's mainly under it's asian name, but yea, it's completely not there under finding friends.
i should program the game into an online version. that might be profitable.

| being productive is overrated. I'm going to sit here and pretend to do work while i spy on this top secret US JPL meeting. They asked if i was a US citizen before they started the meeting and i totally lied and said I was! lawl!

but seriously, do they really need to ask. was i gonna be like, uh no... i'll just leave now, if i was seriously not loyal to the US? nah id just not say anything and theyd be like, too much bother to ask again, i dont want to seem like an ass lol! and then boom id be spying on their completely useless meeting on nothing after weeks of work.

| so i was explaining my life views to somebody one day and he noted that i'm a nihilist. I don't know if I agree with that, but w/e, i don't really give a shit. it doesn't really matter anyway.
This got me to thinking, and i saw this thing on reddit and began pondering rational thought.
The other year in ethics class, we were discussing why one should act morally, and the author, i believe david singer, noted that this may be a somewhat circular question, similar to the question, why should one act rationally. Well, the morally problem one could ask, why should one, on a rational level, act morally. but back to the question at hand: rationality.
so why should one act or think rationally? you could ask the question as a moral question, but then you'd have to answer why one should act morally, and it seems that this related back to rationally. in fact, the mere question of why itself seems to make the question ask you to answer rationally. hence, any answer would use rational logic, hence be circular logic, which by rational thinking seems to give no reason as to why to think rationally. so, thinking rationally as i am now, it seems that rationally thinking itself is self contradicting. therefore, one should actually not think rationally. then one may suppose that, well that means i shouldn't follow this logic because that would be thinking rationally, and we don't want to do that right, but if you were thinking rationally, you'd realize that there are two options: irrational and rational thought. using rational thought, it gives a self contradiction, so this can not be the case, based on rational thought, assuming it is correct, by proof by contradiction, which follows by rational thought, etc. etc. circular. on the other hand, if one thought rationally by this and decided to act irrationally, then you thought rationally and hence your thoughts were wrong in the first place. but that meant that you were thinking rationally about your thoughts being wrong, and you should have been thinking irrationally. and irrationally, if something is true or false, its exact opposite doesnt have to be the other false or true. or maybe it does. i suppose that it's rational to believe that irrational thinking could lead to a specific reasoning. conclusion: curry chicken is delicious.
in other news, i've been in a cooking rotation thingy over summer. so far i made spaghetti, fried rice, zha jiang mein (not sure if it's spelled right) and some sort of curry chicken thing with rice. Most of it was pretty good, I think, but some people didnt like the zha jiang mein cuz it was too asiany i guess. need to think of something else to make soon.
i wish i could sleep all day. thsi world is signficantly more boring. mainly since im not a criminal with super powers. i gotta learn how to shoot beams of power. keep trying and failing. relearning how to fly from my old days though, and a bunch of new powers to boot, but some other powers weakening.
back on the topic of rational thinking: so thinking rationally can not be proven to be the right thing to do (whatever that means), but that doesn't mean that it isn't. In fact, with rational thinking, you can prove it can't be proven, but you can prove that you can't prove that it isn't the right thing to do. Yep.

| not much going on recently.
My game is heavily delayed because everybody else working on it is getting lazy. Oh well. It should still be done before summer prob right? We did invest money in it, so they'll get back into it eventually.
work sucks. as usual.
Played some poker. Lots of bad beats. Some of me sucking. Up like $16 or something over a few days. Not too bad, but could be a lot better I guess.
Played a lot of mario kart recently on wii. We all like pwn face now. And people online suck. But me and these two other guys I play with pwn so much face. This one guy that owns the game in his room used to dominate us (like 1st place every race) but now we're getting better and this one guy beats him sometimes and sometimes I beat that guy and got really close to winning a few other times. Pretty fun with all the items blasting people and stuff.
mm played some starcraft recently with people in my house. I dominated one guy that said he was good, and I was like well I'm good, and then my other friend was like, well I'm pretty good, I want to see you guys play each other, and we were like, meh we're not THAT good but we played and i dominated him. Dunno how it'll go if we play more though. Gots to warm up for SC 2! although thats gonna come out like next year may or something late like that lame.
Dark knight is gonna pwn! We missed buying IMAX tickets midnight showing cuz we tried too late, and today was the first day to buy IMAX tickets non midnight showing, and all of them are sold out already wtf! man. That reminds me, i have to buy tickets
