| Kids are lovely
JACK (age 3)
was watching his Mum breastfeeding his new baby sister. After a while he asked:
"Mum why have you got two? Is one for hot and one for cold milk?"
MELANIE (age
5) asked her Granny how old she was. Granny replied she was so old she didn't
remember any more. Melanie said, "If you don't remember you must look in
the back of your panties. Mine say five to six ."
STEVEN (age
3) hugged and kissed his Mum good night. "I love you so much that when you
die I'm going to bury you outside my bedroom window."
BRITTANY (age 4) had an earache and wanted a
pain killer. She tried in vain to take the lid off the bottle. Seeing her
frustration, her Mum explained it was a child-proof cap and she'd have to open
it for her. Eyes wide with wonder, the little girl asked: "How does it
know it's me?"
SUSAN (age 4)
was drinking juice when she got the hiccups. "Please don't give me this
juice again," she said, "It makes my teeth cough."
DJ (age 4)
stepped onto the bathroom scale and asked: "How much do I cost?"
MARC (age 4)
was engrossed in a young couple that were hugging and kissing in a restaurant.
Without taking his eyes off them, he asked his Dad: "Why is he whispering
in her mouth?"
CLINTON (age 5) was in his bedroom looking
worried. When his Mum asked what was troubling him, he replied, "I don't
know what'll happen with this bed when I get married. How will my wife fit
in?"
JAMES (age 4)
was listening to a Bible story. His Dad read: "The man named
Lot was warned to take his wife and flee out of the city
but his wife looked back and was turned to salt." Concerned, James asked:
"What happened to the flea?"
TAMMY (age 4)
was with her mother when they met an elderly, rather wrinkled woman her Mum
knew. Tammy looked at her for a while and then asked, "Why doesn't your
skin fit your face?"
I think this
Mum will never forget this particular Sunday sermon.
"Dear
Lord," the Minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a
rapturous look on his upturned face. "Without you, we are but
Dust..." He would have continued but at that moment this very obedient
daughter who was listening leaned over and asked quite audibly in her shrill
little four year old girl voice, "Mum, what is butt dust?" | | |
| WonderfulIf I have a glass that time, I would definitely give a toast to my Boss. Considering he is my first Boss, I'm thankful for how wonderful and nice he treats his staffs, oh he refers to his staffs as colleague. In this discussion today, he told me openly about his current situation and why he can't afford to pay me market pay for Engineer. He was really diplomatic and nice enough to help me hook up with his friends. Also, he welcomed me to work for him temporary before I get another job outside. How on earth can you find such a nice Boss? Maybe there is and it's hard to find, but yeah, I'm glad I found one.
Hello World! Here I come!
| | |
| Final DestinationI have decided to stay and continue working in this company. I'll stay for, maybe a year to learn all I could before I make a jump. Come next week, Boss will definitely ask for my decision. Then I'll negotiate with him about the pay. If ma pay ain't good, then he ain't got no worker. If ma pay is good, then he will get a good worker. After a year, I will be flying high.
K Thx Bye

| To stay or not?My Boss had asked me again if I want to stay after finishing internship in the company. This is the third time if I'm not mistaken he had asked me that. I had been thinking a lot about this issue recently and still couldn't come up with a decision. I had even listed down the pros & cons of staying back. Here they are:
Pros: 1) Great place to learn about M&E industry. 2) Small office = no politics at all 3) Very friendly boss 4) Near to my house = won't get stuff in traffic + heaps of parking bays 5) Offer is most likely confirmed (only pending my decision to stay)
Cons: 1) I could only learn things to a certain extent only 2) Might be able to get into bigger company elsewhere 3) Possibly will get lower salary than market salary 4) I'll be shutting down opportunities elsewhere
There are still plenty of what ifs in my mind. And I have to give Boss an answer by next week (1st week of April). I can't deny that many of the fresh graduates would long to work for huge company once they're out. Although some might think it is still ok to work their way up in a small company, there is nothing wrong with working their the way up in a bigger company isn't it? Well, I have friends who are fortunate enough to get into huge companies and I figure out that I might stand a chance for that too. If I am to leave, that means I'll have to stay extra positive and patient until I can get into a suitable company (which means no income until employment).
This blog has been stagnant for a quite sometime. If there is any reader who reads this, do leave a comment on what you think about this. Thank you. Bye

| Beautiful TimepieceI was in the office the other day. As I was browsing through the newspaper, I can't help but noticing a beautiful craftsmanship that really appealed to me. It was the GC Silver Byblos Driver model that really blew me away. There is another sister model which comes in Black/Rose finishing. Could you notice the Roman embossed character on the ring? I wasn't a really big fan of luxury watch when I was younger. To me, I used to worship wrist watch like Casio in primary school, Swatch in Secondary school and none after that. As I was getting older, I began to notice how beautifully certain watches are crafted. Of that, those timepieces come from really luxury brand which is way beyond what I could afford. Well, I wouldn't mind to get one of those Bvlgari pieces when I could afford it one day. Soon after, I started observing people by the kind of watch they wear. I believe fashion sense comes second. So, I couldn't help myself and went to get one myself. Now I'm a happy man!
