Yes my friends, that is Madrid, the city where I will be spending the
next semester of my life (yes my life is measured in semesters as I am
pre-med.) The offices of my program are located in the Colegio San
Agustin (upper right), which happens to right across the street from
Santiago Bernabeu, the stadium where Real Madrid plays.

This might not mean much to you, but this is where Beckham plays. That is all...

| So I was browsing amazon.com and what do I find that I need? This is what:
Who doesn't need a JL421 Badonkadonk Land Cruiser/Tank? Its only $19,999.95 and looks like it just came out of Star Wars. |

| Walking to go eat after Inorganic Chemistry, I had a realization: Today is the last day I will ever spend as a teenager. I am feeling strangely nostalgic about this transition (the last time I had this feeling was when I graduated high school). I have had some good teenage years, requisite with the drunken house parties, an interesting first job (oh Denny's!), and first car. I feel I should really think about things I want to "accomplish" (this word is used very loosely) before I leave the comforts of the teens and meander into the awkward 20's. I don't really have loads of time today to do these things (Immunobiology test tomorrow, and by the way I think that you should be exempt form a test that falls on your birthday, but I digress), but I think I should at least do one or two.
Things to do: 1. Get a tattoo 2. skydive 3. be on tv
I don't think that I will get these done... I think there may have to be wearing of black bands tomorrow to comemorate the loss of my teenage years. |

| It is the wonderful start of a very long semester. Well it is technically the third week but yes. Nothing much is happening here, I am just trying to decide what to do for spring break (and this is where you come into the picture.) I am making a poll, possibly the first of many, to help me decide (and so I don't have to be decisive.)
Question: Should Clint, and by Clint I mean Clint and Maren, go skiing in Colorado or go backpacking at the Grand Canyon. One thing to keep in mind is skiing is twice as expensive, but we could still swing it. So yes
Thanks and sorry this looks like one of those horrible word problems from algebra II... |
