I have decided to change my bg color  the other just hurt the eyes

things that are heppening..

1. Getting weekly private training and totally re-evaluating my technique in playing piano.

2. Reading some books.. which cause me to:

    a)wonder about wondering
    b)think about thinking
    c)live me some life..

3. Interning @ a recording studio

4. Writing a little music here and there

5. Getting re-aquainted with certain mammoths of mine, lust/sloth/pride, we know each other well, but knowing ourselves?  heh that's different..  not entirely, but different still

Currently Reading
The Brain That Changes Itself: Personal Triumphs from the Frontiers of Brain Science (Unabridged)
By Norman Doidge
see related

the "windrider" has suggested a book for me to read..  it brings a new meaning to the renewing of ones mind..  a more quite literal meaning if you ask me..

I guess the premise is this idea in neuroscience called "neuroplasticity"..  making it possible for one part of the brain to take on certain functions that it is not accustomed to.  An analogy the book uses is, say you are on a trip and the road that you are accustomed to is closed down, forcing you to go to a detour..  over time, this detour leads you to your intended destination and you find some backroads that are actually shortcuts.  The same thing with neuroplascticity..  while for some time, neurologists said that certain parts of the brain are designated for speech, sight, hearing, etc..., (localizationism) neuroplasticity suggests that if the "speech" side of the brain is damaged, another part of the brain can act as a "bridge" or even form new receptors or synapses or whatever.  well..  this is a gross regurgitation of the preface that i've read and of what Martin has said, but i guess i am just excited to read more about it..  simply fascinating!

 ..  can't sleep.

I am going to write a plain ol' sam entry..   haven't done so in a while  =)  I have to pick a topic though..  what about justice.

there we are..  a topic..  good ol' justice.

I'm not as read up as most are on this topic.  There are those that are studying law that can say volumes on the word.  There are even those that study truth that can add even more volumes.

my opinion, thanks for asking :),  I think everyone is crying out for injustice in a sense..  like we that speed..  mad at the police for being just, we want injustice, we demand it

there are those that become mad at themselves and in return, condemn those that love themselves..  there's just no resolve

we are the ones that overlook that we've already been injusticed AND justiced by God..  the good judge has spoken and the impossible is complete

I am not for legalizing weed, I am also not for the prohibition of it.. I am for grace and truth .. deeper than actions, to the core of things.

well..  there ya go.  I end with a quote from "Rope"

Rupert Cadell: Brandon's spoken of you.

Janet Walker: Did he do me justice?

Rupert Cadell: Do you deserve justice?
