Happy Birthday Karen!

It was an insanely long day at work today. Not only did I FINALLY finish adding arm deformations to one of our charaters (it took a long ass time because for some reason any time I decide to copy weights or add new joints random verticies decide to completely weight to the wrong bone) but my ass deflated. I sat in a meeting reviewing cinematics for 4 1/2 hours!

I'm so brain dead right now I can't figure out what I originally wanted to write about.

Holy smokes, we're creeping on 3 years here. Also, its been 6 months that I've been living with Chano. I mentioned this to him. I told him that it's nice that I haven't felt like I've needed to kill him yet.

Things are uneventful lately.

Went to Medieval Times for Grandma Dora's birthday. Again, our knight didn't win.

Oh wells. Halloween was a blast! I need to post some pictures soon. The Garcias decided to join us this year for the first time. They are hooked, and will definately be back for next year.

Busted an Aunty Sis move the other day. Got a Christmas gift. Although Aunty Sis is usually finished by July. I'm still looking for little gifts for our Christmas basket. I found my theme, now, what to buy that isn't expensive!

Been to a few get togethers recently. Lotta people I hadn't seen in a while. Nice to catch up on some things. I was pretty NOT sober in that picture. Uhm, yeah thats about it.

I caught the damn bouquet. I wasn't really sober, and I clumbsily stuck my hand out and closed my fist and BAM....a fricken flower hit it. Everyone's been teasing us anyway about us getting married. Earlier this month I sent out an email called "Suprise!" and it was just about some comic strip I love. But my aunty thought it was about me announcing my engagement. Chano, replied with, "oh? who are you engaged to?!" So, this just pretty much just made my hole 6 feet deeper. He said I should have jumped the other way.

Crash Test

I'm taking a quick crash course in driving manual again. I'm spending a horrid amount of money on gas for the Titan. So I was talking it over with Chano and he'll be driving the Titan instead and I the CRX. He doesn't have far to drive just yet, so it'll be better for him to take the Titan. The CRX will save me tons of money, but I got to get used to a car that doesn't have any giddy-up.

So this Friday I'll be driving around a bit trying to find Nicole a wedding gift. Then Saturday I'll be driving the CRX to Lake Elsinore for her wedding. If you see a little white car that fell off the side of the road, that is probably me!

Another decision as made last night. And I agreed with Chano that I wasn't going to like it. We have to sell the Ninja. No more late night flying through trees, slashing people's curtins... I am so bummed. But with that money we can get rid of some bills.

We did a quick tally, and we realized with both our debt combined, we are Captain Planet! Although Chano assured me that we'll get at least his stuff paid off by the time he graduates. PAH! Though I don't think the word "assured" is what I was feeling.

We are all pretty much packed up and re' to go! Well, at least I know I am! Although I refrained from taking things into work since I wasn't sure how long I would actually be at Collective. Some people had boxes worth of things. I had one box. and I think I could count all the things in it with two hands.

I took Chano's motorcycle out around the neighborhood while he was out at school. I went around a couple times and I realize, I get bored real fast. I did learn how to shift better than the other day when I took it out at a parking lot. We weren't sure how I would handle the weight and height since its fairly heavy for my shit-tacular back and vertically challeneged legs. It was okay, though stopping it kind of scary since I can't really reach the ground. Reminds me of being on the dirtbike. Except that the concrete will stop you instead of a soft pillow of gravel. I wanted to take it out around the main street but I figure Chano probably isn't too comfortable with that because of the issues I have. I tried texting him to see what he said, but he is either paying attention in class or fell asleep. Either way he didn't respond.

July - August

Hm, what have I been up to?July:4th of July was spent both at my parents house and Chano's. Fun!Was in New Mexico for my cousin's wedding. That was real nice. It lightly sprinkled during the ceremony. And then late in the night during the reception a lightning storm arrived. Our DJ (another one of my cousins) said, "you know who's from California. They are the ones standing outside in the rain "oooing and awwwing" waiting to get electrocuted!" Beautiful.August:Went to Vegas with my cousin for her bachlorette party. Krazy. I think we need to do it again. For uh...her not-so-bachlorette party! bah, do we really need an excuse?! Of course we had to check out Thunder From Down Under while we were at it.Bought my a 91 Honda CRX from my cousin. Looks like this. Something to save some gas money.I also managed to some how make time for Daniel Mullowney before he moved up to Seattle for the next couple years. Figure it'd be a while before I take a trip up in that direction anyway. Got in touch with Jovel Crisostomo this past weekend as well. I hadn't seen her since we graduated CAMS. It was fun getting caught up. Since her man lives in the area, hopefully we can get together more often.

A great tasting restaurant that I definately recommend. Ricky showed me the wonders of their appetizers! The closest one that I know of is at South Coast Plaza.

Work was pretty frustrating today. Maya kept crashing every 2 minutes. So, I figured I thought I'd outsmart it by saving every minute. But, for whatever reason it wasn't even saving! So, I called some people, they fixed the problem and I went home. I was so frustrated my back was killing me, so I gave the computer the finger.

I was originally going to find a picture of something related to lab work, but realized that WoW was probably a better theme.

So, I've been DAMNED busy with work. Milestone. I was staying at work until about 9pm. SUCKS! But, whatever needs to get done... Just wish that the whole job concept didn't take so much out of the weekdays! At least at Collective I sit next to a window so I get to see the light outside. Not that it means anything. The sun looks so warm and inviting lately. It feels like a meat locker at my desk though because the AC aims right down at me.

We'll be taking a trip to New Mexico the first week of July. Glad my parents decided to wait a little and have Fourth of July here in California. Though, we're not entirely sure what we are going to do. Possibly hang out here in Stanton and chill with these neighbors instead. But, we'll be heading out to NM for my cousin's wedding. God, hopefully it won't be damn hot out there. Although I can wish all I want because it sure as hell won't be snowing.

Today is a great day. Absolutely nothing to do. There was a bit of a bottle neck in the pipeline so this morning I have nothing to do. Today is also Chano's first day at school! He'll be taking evening classes so, I won't see him when I come home from work. He'll be there sleeping in class from 6 to 930pm. So I figure, during that time that he is gone, I can stay a tad later at work and get some things done. Though we'll see how that goes. But I was also thinking that I'll have time to myself to get some exercise time in. Apparently I couldn't get my ass up in the morning. I cherish being next to Chano as long as possible. Plus, its damn cold in the morning. This last Friday I did manage to get real early though. Someone declare that day a Holiday! I got up super early to get to the DMV when it opens. When I got there I was amazed to find it almost empty. And here I was expecting to find a ginormous line of people. I got in, and got out quick. Now I have my M1 (motorcycle) license. So, here I have this license and no bike to ride! I wonder how long I have to wait until get enough mula to buy me one. The problem is trying to find a decently powered bike that isn't so damn tall.

I belong to The Collective now. So far so good it seems. Mostly because the first day I had no computer so I had nothing to do. And today was dedicated to updating everything from the server. /looks at watch. It's been a couple hours now. Looks like work here will be a challenge. Not a bad one. Definately a fun and learning intensive. I never thought I would EVER EVER EVER ever ever ever touch programing. And what happens? I NEED to learn MEL. /crosses fingers Let us hope that I don't fall asleep during the lectures. Everyone here is real nice. Plenty of eye-candy. Colorful building on the inside, although the noise of the airport outside floods the inside once in a while. I wonder how air traffic will be at the new building?
