| i don't really like writing on this thing...as you can tell its been
like three months. soo this past semester of school went really
well...spanish wasn't so good but thats just cause I didn't really
study for it. i think i'll look at my book more now that I don't have
to look at it...isn't that how it goes? i changed my major to
elementary education which is pretty exciting for me!!:) and i haven't
really ever dreamed of being a "teacher" teacher, but I would really
just love to work for a church in the childrens ministry...and i'm sure
this would help me in that postion. so i'm going back to sterling
college for this next semester and then i don't know what will come
after that. right now i have little desire to return to sterling....but
that could change depending on how the semester goes. i just think that
there is much more i could be doing...and that i should do it while i
can. and if i'm going to be in school...i want them to be classes
that'll teach me how to teach about Jesus. soo a ministry school, i
just don't know which one. Hmmmm...i don't know lots of things right
now but that's alright. i'm just letting God use me where i am now!!
last night my friend Emily had a christmas party!! it was my girl
friends from high school and it was soo much fun and of course brought
back so many wonderful memories! ahhh...memories! loove them! and i'm
loving my break too! it's nice being home with my family!! i hope that
you all have a great rest of the week and that your lives are full of
life and that Jesus is in ALL that you do. love you guys!

| PRAISE GOD! for all of you that know Adam and knew how he was living, well right now he's at a place where he's totally changing, and giving everything to God. he left me a viocemail the other day, and his voice was so full of life! God is faithful! Be faithful to Him! | | |
| hey all! hope everyones life is going great! i miss my friends from wichita! but i also like it here at Sterling, its a nice change. we all could use change in our lives! God never changes, but we do. College so far isn't bad, haven't had much homework so thats nice. I like all my classes that i'm taking because they'll be useful in life. I don't like taking pointless classes...not a big fan!=) Volleyball has been good, we've just been practicing but we definitely have our first game on wednesday. It becomes lots more fun when the games start...as you all probably are aware of i'm sure!=) I have many questions about where I'm suppose to be, but for now I know its Sterling because thats where I am. God has awesome awesome plans for you and me, we just have to give it up and let Him lead us. He's the leader we're the followers. I miss Erica...shes all the way in Florida!! i can't believe it....she's so far away from me. shes not done with her cd, but i'm pretty sure everyone who knows her wants it. i'll let ya'll know when its done and done!=) shes pretty much the best singer ever! i'm believing that everyone is growing, and overflowing with joy! much love to all!!!=) *sarah | | |
| i'm back from Tijuana!!! well i've been back for a few days, but just
now getting the chance to update. i know you all are just sooo
excited! Mexico was AWESOME! God worked in the lives of His
people everyday, whether it be in our hearts, or the hearts that we
were there ministering to! There were like 800 missionaries, and 200
leaders and people who were there to help, so there were 1000 people
there all for the same purpose. That is to serve God, and see His
people come to know Him for the first time! About 850 lives were saved
and changed forever!! AWESOME...i know!! The people there in
Mexico are so happy, although they have so little. i can truly say that
i will never be the same. us americans are selfish...and i'm like why
have i been living like this...there's so much more to life then
fulfilling my needs and desires. Yes, God wants us to have that
intamacy with Him, and be in His word daily so that we grow to know Him
personally. but what about the ones who don't know Him, and who don't
know that He can be there joy, comfort, happiness, bestest friend, best
daddy, fulfilling, and so much more. so yeah, how are they going to
know all His promises....through us!! we've got to be the ones!! the
world changers! i don't know about ya'll, but i have to be in my
word daily so that i'm able to get through the day. already just being
home for two days, i'm like wow...God's awesome and i don't know how
anyone could live in a world thats so empty and not have a relationship
with Him. i look at things so differently and much more appreciative!
such as a flushing tiolet...WOW... is all i can say....haha! Soo God
created us for a purpose, and its not just to fill or own wants, but
its to further His Kingdom!! God's preparing their hearts, the nations
are ready for us to tell them about Jesus, we just have to be willing
and say, here i am God...send me!!!
Soo this sunday...i won't be going to church....sadness all around..! i
get to go to Colorado on a retreat with my volleyball team though, and i'm
looking forward to it so much. it'll be great getting to see my friends
from school. they're truly great girls! my coach is pretty stinkin
awesome too. she loves to win don't get me wrong, but she has a heart
that cares more about seeing us girls living our lives for Jesus. she
questions us daily on how our spiritual life is going, soo that is very
awesome and i'm very thankful and blessed to have her as my coach.
this is really long...i just realized, so i'm going to stop! i have
more to share of course, but that'll be for another day! let God
be in ALL you do!!!! mucho love!!
