Hi all!

Hello again!  Well, summer is here, and I kinda have the summer off this year.  I'm seeing two school-age kids and four (I think) birth-5 kids.  It's definitely not as much work as I had last year, but I wanted it that way.  Eric took two summer classes that just finished this past Friday, so now we may actually be able to get out and do things.  No plans for vacation yet, although we've gone camping a few times.  We may invite ourselves to NJ to see someone's new house , but who knows.  In other news, we've seen Jared and Nessa's new little boy several times now, and he and Madi are very cute together.

Well, since we lead a fairly boring life, I think that's it.  Hope everyone's having a good summer!

Well, since I haven't updated since April 28....I suppose I should now.  Eric and I made it through our first years of school, although there are definitely some things we would have done differently.  We also bought a doublewide mobile home at the end of May in a really nice trailer park.  It has 3BR, 2Bath, a nice size living room, kitchen, dining room, and a little laundry area.  We need to fix up some things, but it's nothing we can't live without.  We're planning on being here several years before we save up some money toward a real house (as in, a house on a permanent foundation with a basement).  This is nice and makes more sense than renting another 3 years, though.  I've been seeing a few kids over the summer through the IU's preschool and ESY programs.  Just a little extra money, and it's 2 days a week in the morning...nothing to worry about.  Still not sure how many more years I'll be with the IU, especially with all the contract negotiation junk that's happening right now.  We shall wait and see.

Kenny Chesney "Keg In The Closet"

We had a dog named Bocephus living in the front yard

he liked sleeping out on the top of the car

he’d drink beer out of the mason jar and he climb up on everyone's bed

A white frame house, a college town, a bunch of people always hanging around,

no real problems we needed to drown but we tried our best anyway

we went to class just to pass the time

back in eighty nine

[Chorus:]

We had a Keg in the closet, pizza on the floor left over from the night before

where we were going we didn’t really care we had all we ever wanted and that keg in the closet

This old guitar taught me how to score right there on the Lambda Chi porch

Mary Ann taught me a little more about wantin' what you can't have

sweatshirts and flag football, spring breaks down in Panama

for a while we had it all we never dreamed it wouldn’t last

we went to class just to pass the time

back in eighty nine

[Chorus:]

We had a Keg in the closet, pizza on the floor left over from the night before

where we were going we didn’t really care we had all we ever wanted and that keg in the closet

We all kind of went our separate ways, but I swear it seems like yesterday...

[Chorus:]

We had a Keg in the closet, pizza on the floor left over from the night before

where we were going we didn’t really care we had all we ever wanted and that keg in the closet .

I've been listening to this song recently, and it really reminds me of college (especially if you change the "keg in the closet" to "liquor in the cabinet")

adopt your own virtual pet!

I know that some people like to hold grudges (even if those people don't know it is against them), but you should at least tell the people you're angry with WHY you're angry with them.  Then, they can make amends if they feel it's worth it.  Otherwise, you're just being a selfish B_____  who can't ever let anything go.
