She answered in a typical Peanut way, "That movie was sooooo boring for us kids but I think it has something to do with Freedom." She got it, even though it was a long drawn out documentary that you'd think a child wouldn't get. It truly is a movie about Freedom. See, they really are paying attention even though it's "boring".

On a sad note.....
I'm throwing a virtual tantrum over the lack of Jasmine rice right now. I just spent $5 on a little 5 lb bag, what in the world!

Let the rice free! Feed the Thai people (in Tucson)!!! It's the end of the world! LOL!!! Waaaaaaaa!!!!! I WANT MY RICE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, virtual tantrum over now. Just never realized how much I've taken rice for granted.

Tuesday, April 22, 2008

Long Time no post (again).

Please visit my www.xanga.com/prayforkemuel site for Kemuel's updates.

Just wanted to post a link to a video that impressed upon me. Pray it will bless you as well.

Saturday, February 23, 2008

Kai boy is sick again. Another respiratory bug just started at the Smith home. :(

I DO HAVE to tell you what Kai boy told me the other day though.

He walks in my bedroom, holding up his hands in a cupped position; kind of like how a swimmer cups his hands to gain more traction in the water. He has a bewildered look on his sweet face as he studies his hands. "Mommy," he states with absolute confidence," I have a Mexican in my hands." "What did you say baby?", I reply as I attempt to decipher his message. "I have a Mexican in my hands Mommy." "Do you have medicine in your hands Kai boy?" I respond thinking maybe he has his words mixed up. "Nope, I have a Mexican in my hands." All I could think as I'm feeling his hands to try and help him figure out what he's MEANING to say is that maybe he's just got a great imagination. I had to kind of dismiss the conversations as precious, imaginative, and odd.

Later that day, I happen to talk to my friend Cindy. We're chatting about who knows what when I had to tell her the funny thing Kai boy said today about the Mexican in his hands. She started laughing hysterically. "What?" I ask her. "I think he got that from my kids." she answers. "What do you mean?" I follow. "They do this thing where they cup their hands and look to see if their folds make an 'M'. If there's an 'M' on your hands, they say it means you have Mexican in you."

Just another precious Kai boy memory I had to share.

Thursday, January 24, 2008

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY
KAINOS JORDON!

MOMMY LOVE, LOVE, LOVES YOU SOOOOOOOOOO

MUCH!

Wednesday, January 23, 2008

We're trying to keep Kemuel from getting sick (RSV especially) for a couple reasons: 1-we don't know how he'll handle a cold because the tumor is not normal lung tissue and supposedly if it becomes infected, stuff tends to get sticky and stay sticky inside it. 2. If this happens, it complicates the surgery tremendously, according to our surgeon. So, my basic restrictions are to be ultra cautious with him around other small children as they tend to "share" well. With all that in mind, an old friend of mine hosts a Mother Daughter Christmas Tea every year and I just assumed we wouldn't be able to attend this year. She blessed me by accommodating us in one of her spare rooms. That's right, she set up this beautiful dining room table just for Kemuel in a bedroom. It was perfect as I got to keep Kemmy with me and limit who had access to him.
Keenan and Kai came as well just incase Kemuel needed to be kept outside. Yep, it was still warm enough here to go for walks outside with a baby.

The Smith girls!

My sweet K-K

Kyra's ready to eat Mom!!!

Me and Kemmy

Kyra tickling Kemmy.

The Smith Clan.

A picture of our little tea party with the Aviles girls.

I'll post more later!
Pray you all have a blessed Christ filled Christmas season.
