I think lfe got hectic again.  I don't recall where, but I'm pretty sure it got hectic again.  This week hasn't been the slowest of weeks, or maybe it has and I jus don't recall.  Anyways.  The week was pretty, I wish I would have had more time to enjoy it. I remember laying in the sun on Monday, but I didn't get another chance until Friday.  I didn't have Wired, or a commission meeting.  I remember why I got to lay in the sun Monday, it was Marvolous Monday.  But I didn't get to until later in the day- you see I spent the better portion of the day in either Johnson City or Blountville getting my stuff together for my Passport.  Then I had to go to Blountville to submit the forms, and hopefully in a few weeks a little blue book will come in the mail for me.  The rest of the week flew by.  Adam's class was canceled once again on Tuesday, but I had play practice.  Thankfully it was right after Wired, so I didn't have to make a second trip to Milligan for the day.  Not that I don't love to be at Milligan- rather it's the price of the gas it takes to get there. So Wednesday after my classes, I ran some errands in Bristol and went to the gym. Thursday I had lack of caffeine issues and took a nap in the broadcast lab.  Adam's class wasn't canceled though, so I had to joy of having a massive headache as well as being with those silly boys, who were actually understanding of the fact that I didn't want to be there.  Their understanding resulted in all four of us (us being the 3 guys and me) singing/dancing to Backstreet Boys.  It was actually quite comical.  Friday I had my classes (and I actually read the play for Humanities, go me!) then I went home and found my grandparents mulching.  I convinced them to take a break so we could go to the little diner in town then we came back I helped them mulch.  Then I had the joy of laying in the sun for an hour.  But I had to get up at 5 from tanning to go to work.  I didn't get back until around 11, and I had to be at work by 6:45 the next morning.  I didn't sleep well, and needless to say I really didn't want to get up when my alarm clock went off.  But I did.  I didn't get to leave until 4:35.  Then I came home and jumped onto my bed and dozed on and off for a few hours and around 8, I watched the movie Princess, which totally made me smile.  This morning I got up and finished reading my book, and finally got moving.  I've cleaned the bathroom, and I've been working my rememorizing my lines again.  So my week hasn't been horribly terrible, but I also only managed to take one offical nap (because yesterday's doesn't count!).

For the rest of the day I think I'll continue my busy regiment.  I have playpractice at... 2 I think.  I also need to look and see if I have any Humanities work I need to do.  I should probably vaccuum some, or at least the top floor of the house.

I only have this week of classes left, and Monday for my Humanities exam! Then I don't go back until the end of August! I am SOOOOOOOOO excited! I love the summer, and I love the warm, and I love just running around in a bathing suit and not caring! We're opening our pool on May 5! TOTALLLY EXCITED!  And this Thursday is my performace, which I am also excited about.  Everyone should come, its going to be great.  I also found out that I should be going to Grandfather Mountain again for the Highlands Games with my two very best friends and a few others.  I'm really psyched about this summer.  It should be great fun.

Hopefully I will be able to sail through this week.  Speaking of which, I should be doing a decent amount of that this summer, being as Mr. Coleman has a sail boat and I am his favorite person in the world!  I just hope Monday is not near as cold as the weatherman predicts!

    Grr... 13 hour Shift.

Indeed, it is true.  I worked a 13 hour shift.  However, I didn't have to share my tips, and did manage to make $90.  No complaints- other than that there was no good food, only cold pizza.  The angels also shined down on me and I didn't get lost- yay me! I worked from 8am-9pm, and then came home and literally fell into bed and didn't get up until this morning when I had to get ready for church.  Next week is a HUGE girls fast-pitch tournament, so I'll be working Friday and Saturday for sure.

This week however, appears as if it will be a slow week.  I really don't think I have that much to do.  I mean there are a few necessary things, like learning my lines for the one-act play, and studying for German and Humanities and seriously thinking about getting my speech done for next Wednesday, but really not that much compared to other weeks.  You see there isn't a meeting this week (at least I don't think there is), and the Wired season is over.  So nothing truely HUGE should be going on.

Anyways, I think I should finally change out of my church clothes.  I think my mommy and I are going into Bristol and going to Ross and Target (we LOVE Target!).

I wasn't lucky enough to give blood... tears... But I tried, and I think its the thought that counts... Sometime next week, I'll try to remember to call RedCross, or someone of the such, and ask if I can come in randomly to give blood- maybe then my blood count/iron will be right... I'll also work on eating more red meat.

However, I have managed to get to the gym 3 times so far this week- though that doesn't even begin to make-up for my lack of attendance last week.  Yesterday, I did what my mother and I call the lifty army thingy.  I managed to pull every muscle in my arms, shoulder, chest, and if I have muscles in my thoat area, I pulled those too... and possibly some in my back... I am indeed very wimpy.  And proud of it.

Today wasn't Thrilling Thursday- which made me want to cry.  It's getting close to the end of the school year though, so this "Wonderful Day" should be coming soon- it just has to.  My grandmother's cat once again managed to keep me awake the better portion of the night, including waking me up at 5:40am, and making it impossible for me to go back to sleep. You'd think I'd get smart and shut my door, but no, I was lazy and didn't want to get up.  So tonight, I locked that stupid cat in my grandfather's room- that'll show her.

Tomorrow should be an OK kinda day.  However, I found out this morning (or maybe it was this afternoon) that on Saturday, I'm working at least a 12 hour shift- from 8am-8pm.  That's going to be rough... Ethan and Evan are both out of town, so I think I'm working with Franklin (one of my friend's dad). He's a pretty cool guy- however, I will be working at the soccer field, so we should all pray I don't get lost trying to get there

  • I think I'm in some massive need of sleep.  Last night I had to work the Kingsport Commission meeting... I haven't worked a meeting in a couple of weeks, and this one lasted FOREVER!!! The meeting wasn't over until 9:20, we didn't leave until 9:30, we didn't arrive back at Milligan until 10:00, and I didn't get home until 10:35.  Not to mention the fact that I had to do German homework, and I tried to read all of Humanities, but that doesn't always work... When I finally got to sleep, my grandmother's cat Molly kept waking me up.  I had taken allergy meds that normally knock me out (I was feeling rather congested and overall yucky), but somehow that cat woke me up.

Today should be ok.  I have my 3 classes, then I'm going home and to the gym, and I have play practice tonight.  I should get home just in time to watch the last 30 minutes of America's Next Top Model... With any luck tomorrow will be "Wonderful Day" and I won't have to go to school.  I could use a day of sleep.

Today I SHOULD be giving blood.  The last time I tried, my blood count was too low.  That wonderful trait runs in my family, so hopefully my count will be normal today.  Well, I think I'll try to go take a nap before speech...

    Success!

I have indeed managed to do exactly as I had planned for the weekend... Basically nothing. Success has a sweet taste.

Anyways.  Yesterday, since I had no homework to think of, I complied a list of the books for extra credit for humanities.  Then I mosied to the Bluff City Library (BCL) (I've read all of the books in the Teen Fiction section).  The list had 11 books on it... most of which were by classic authors that I presumed the BCL would have... but boy was I wrong.  Of those 11 books, the BCL only had 1.  That's it.  Granted it was the one book I was actually interested in reading, but thats a minor detail- they only had 1 book was the main point.  So I ended up leaving the library with that book and 3 others (I just couldn't help myself).  Then, since it was a lovely day, I decided to go up to the graveyard and read to a hydrania bush named Florence (Flo for short).  You see, Flo is an OLD bush and my grandmother and I decided last summer to give Flo some love, because she had been neglected for years and needed lots of love.  So we give her manure and lime (to change the color of her leaves)... I also believe that telling a plant stories stimulates growth and flowering and generally just makes the plant happy. So I read the plant part of this lovely book- which as I thought, it is amazing, and I'm almost done with it :)  I also had a lovely conversation with Flo, where we talked about things, such as books, what I'm doing in school, how her winter was, if I was considering adopting any other plants, and other silly philosophical things.

I really hope this week isn't horribly stressful.

I also found out that along with working weekends up at Wingdeer Park, and Commission Meetings in JC and Kingsport, I will be working at Appalachian Caverns a couple days a week.  I know/love the people who work up there, and they needed another someone to give tours.  And since I had worked up there throughout the month of October, I was e-mailed first- plus there's the fact that they totally love me, I mean who doesn't?

Once again, I really hope this week isn't stressful, and I hope that God warms up East Tennessee and doesn't send us snow or rain for that matter.
