| well lets see now, its been quite a while since I've written on here. I'm still living in Austin for the moment, I like it just fine sometimes and not at all others. I'm a pretty all-right waitress now so at least I have a marketable skill under my belt. more marketable than playing with clay or scribbly scrablin anyway. This week I decided to NOT go back to school and it feels very nice. Are you a student? no. no I am not. maybe someday when I've seen everything i want to see and been everywhere I want to be (ha) I'll go back and get a geology degree or some such nonsense. For now I'll find a second job and store my coins away until I can find and afford a mode of transportation that can also serve as a home. and that is the plan, unless something else comes along before august. I hope you huntsville friends are doing well, enjoy the beautiful weather! |

| So Austin is really big. This week was a 40,000 person Biker Ralley so my job-hunting consisted of squeezing around downtown trying not to piss off any of the bikers.
I might have a job hostessing at a nice restaurant. The guy asked me if I like to smile a lot. hmm. liars go to hell. I do like smiling though :D I'll just have to pray for God to give me the grace to actually feel genuine warmth towards every customer that comes in the door. my fake smile is not nice, thats why there are very few good pictures of me out there.
anyway.
I'm tired.

I'm in China Spring right now, just gave my little sister a lesson in Ska. She likes Streetlight Manifesto :) she can't skank though. ah well, nobody's perfect. |
