| The Societa' Degli
Alberi is an Italianesque village with traditional stone housing and
wonderfully kept public buildings. The streets are made of a handsome
cobblestone that undergo routine cleaning and polishing every three
months. We are located in the center of a thickly wooded area, the
Societa' is the ideal spot for individualistic living and a close
relationship with nature. With the exception of a few clearings for
farming, the land around Societa' Degli Alberi is entirely natural and
free of pollutants.
Earning a living in the Societa' is very simple. Members may choose
from a variety of enjoyable jobs. They are incharge of keeping track of
their monthly work quota. So long as each adult is working his/her fair
share, which is determined by the type of work that is being done and
by who, he/she will receive food and clothing rations to support
his/her family. Use of the Society well will be allowed for all members
at all times. If a society member is in need of new items for his/her
household, he/she may work extra hours to earn the item(s).
