Welcome to the Societa' Degli Alberi!
Below you will find information about our lovely village and its many qualities you will find suitable for you and your loved ones.
We hope you will seriously consider making our Societa' Degli Alberi not only your place to live, but also your way of life!!!
Our Pledge is as follows:
As members of the Societa' (society) as unica (unique) as gli alberi (the trees), we pledge to uphold the value of the individual, cherish the bellezza (beauty) of the world around us, stand up for what we believe is right, and, in due course, accept the consequences that may arise from upholding the impegno sacred (sacred pledge).

Thank you for visiting!

The Societa' Degli Alberi is an Italianesque village with traditional stone housing and wonderfully kept public buildings. The streets are made of a handsome cobblestone that undergo routine cleaning and polishing every three months. We are located in the center of a thickly wooded area, the Societa' is the ideal spot for individualistic living and a close relationship with nature. With the exception of a few clearings for farming, the land around Societa' Degli Alberi is entirely natural and free of pollutants.
Earning a living in the Societa' is very simple. Members may choose from a variety of enjoyable jobs. They are incharge of keeping track of their monthly work quota. So long as each adult is working his/her fair share, which is determined by the type of work that is being done and by who, he/she will receive food and clothing rations to support his/her family. Use of the Society well will be allowed for all members at all times. If a society member is in need of new items for his/her household, he/she may work extra hours to earn the item(s).
As each member of the society is encouraged to an individual, many types of work are encouraged. However, some jobs are restricted to men only and some to women only. A list of available occupations follows.
Men: blacksmith, carpenter, baker, farmer, musician, teacher, Committee member or chairman (government leader), doctor, livestock specialist, milkman, messenger, scribe, writer, printer, maintenance crew, butcher, priest, clergyman, court official, philosopher, artist, warehouse supplier.
Women: baker, farmer, teacher, musician, writer, milkwoman, messenger, household maintenance, cook, childcare, seamstress, artist, organizational specialist (primarily for societal purposes).
Unacceptable behaviors are besmirchment of the natural world, destruction of one's individuality by captivity, murder, or other acts, and participation in adultery or postition.
                     Punishments:
First offense: Occupational Restriction (the society will place the offender in the job they                                      choose, instead of giving the offender his/her choice).
Second offense: Forced isolation for one month in the woods to reflect on the choices the                                      offender has made.
Third offense: Expulsion from the Societa'.
