| wallflowers and rye: the coming of age storylooking back at my track record on this particular site, goddamn was i a scene whore. anyhow, since its the end of another year, i figured i would check back at the old standby, my xanga blog. aww, i forgot it was even still active, adorable. so, this was the year we all turned into alcoholics ranging from a few weeks to a few months. luckily, ive started to enjoy only a beer or a bit here and there of whatever other substance.
updates: last semester - katy and asya transfered to city as. favorite pastimes at cityas smoking breaks are count the blunt, buying from the local bud vendor, and rolling up. hilarious i think so.
a few weeks ago - mark died. i went out with him for a little bit in the fall. he was hit by a car, he was a nice guy. its worse when youre young.
today - i went to the dark room at abc no rio with miles(boyfriend) today. miles is from nebraska. he enjoys cinema, lucky strikes, and zombies, what more do i need? catch is hes leaving in a few weeks out west with jared. when i got there miles and joe were breaking in from the backyard cause miles forgot the keys. had 99cent 22oz pbrs.

so, schools out and im a bit too tired to be as excited these days. its odd, how much everyone grew up.

| the summer's bliss of staying out and sleeping in and getting drunk with my friendsit is summer again, so we gotta get together our soco amaretto limes and go drink and pass out on the overpass. my summer thus far consisted of... a tilly show where everyone jumped on stage for nights of the living dead. free concerts- saturday looks good to me, feist, tv on the radio, voxtrot, belle and sebastian, and mates of state. so thats around 5 down, 16 more to go! but the one that i prop every year and so i shall this year: siren. the siren music festival at coney island this year is on july 15th with sissor sisters/stars headlining. so make the trip out and go for a full day of free stuff and indieness. but besides shows there was the gay pride parade, kickball in jersey, hipsterville fair, rollin wit the homies, beach, bbq, fireworks, and guitar hero. guitar hero hurt my fingers more than real a guitar does.
so for the future, more shows, learn to ride a bike, work at a somewhere cause im currently out of work and can no longer support my extravagant lifestyle, design/make clothes, and blepblepblep. summer playlist top 5 -

| today was finals and we got out early. it was a nice day. cause it felt like summer. and it smelled like summer. we went out to west 4th for tarts and french baguettes, which we beat each other with, then ate. it was delicious. i dont know why, but today felt very free. we looked in all the shops. ilya got this little musical instrument for $5. its cute and sounds nice. i got some new books. and asya got new clothes. katy and anthony were being the same person as usual. we found dorothy. we were gonna go with katy to get her belly button pierced but her guy wasnt there. we ran into cursive hoodie boy along christopher street, me and katy saw him once at barnes and noble. i said i said he had a nice hoodie once at b&n. then we were like you shouldnt carry around a freshman bookbag (the realy huge ones) or people will think youre a freshman. and we asked him if he was a freshman, he said he was. lol. we laughed. oh everyone loves and has that ugly organ shirt/hoodie. ah organs. then we walked to 14th st and i parted ways with everyone cause they were going to this show at a cafe in brooklyn which was too much of a trip for me. so i went to the knitting factory to buy inferno tickets, and whoa guess who i see? freshman cursive boy. but i was on my way down and i was blocking the way so i didnt get a chance to say hi. later i found out taht celeste was at the same show that was going on there. now im really mad that i didnt stay at the knitting factory for all three floor ska night.

| new years sucked for the record. well it wasnt all bad. katys house was fun. inferno at the crazy donkey was okay. too many ska kids not enough infernites. but skanking was fun. oh how i love picking up quarters and shopping carts. pics may be posted at a later date.
this weekend is as we probably all know is a three day weekend on account of martin luther king jr day. what we may not all know is that its my birthday as well on the 16th. and since its a three day weekend, and since this will be the year that i can actually get arrested for things, i propose a random massive game of manhunt in the city. since its a big place, we shall designate boundries and places we can go to or hide in. details settled later. bring flashlights. it shall probably be on saturday or sunday. decision based on who has plans when. please everyone do your bestest to come. it would be really cool if we had everyone run around manhattan trying to catch each other and it would really make my day. <3

| so its the last day of december. and i hope we all had a good year. im pretty sure i did. few regrets. lots of spills and loss. but also a lot of good times. counting up all the good times and the bad, i figure the good ones out weigh everything else. so, here's hoping for more laughs and fun with everyone we love. tonight is new year's eve. the plan...still not entirely sure. so far, i might be going to a leftover crack show at the hook with ilya, katy, burges, kim. then mayhaps prospect park for fireworks, which im looking foward to. but nothing is definate. i wish plans were more easily made. if anything, i might just go with kathy to her long island thing. in all cases, i think that we shall be out of it. as people ought to be on holidays.
