Name: Joel Country: United States State: North Dakota Metro: Bismarck Birthday: 5/19/1986 Gender: Male
Interests: Music. Every kind. Well maybe not EVERY kind, but just about. I like good movies. Movies that make you laugh. Movies that make you think. Movies that just plain rock. I like to read - although sadly, I don't do enough of that (recreational i mean) anymore with all the assigned crap we get at school. Basically, I'm pretty interested in everything - life in general and all of it's intricate little details. If someone has a lot of interests, does that make them interesting? Expertise: I'm good at everything. Ok I'm definitely kidding. But let's see, I've been involved with some type of music for most of my life. I've played the piano since I was 6, I did some band in high school, I joined a choir last year - so you could say I'm all around musical. Occupation: Student

| Life SoundtrackHello, I haven't updated this in close to a year. The only reason
I'm doing it now is because I'm extremely bored and feel like
procrastinating before reading for Anatomy and EEB. I'm sure
nobody will actually read this because I never update this, but I don't
really care at the moment. Anyway, a million people have done
this, and it's pretty lame, but sometimes it's creepy how fitting the
music is . . .
If your life were a soundtrack, what would the music be?
Here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, winamp, media player, iPod). 2. Put it on shuffle. 3. Press play. 4. For every question, type the song that's playing. 5. New question press the next button. 6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool.
Opening Credits One Ray of Sunlight - Phantom Planet
* I guess this sorta works as an introduction type song . . .
Waking Up Eureka's Castle Theme - Nickelodeon
* Hahaha,
this used to be my absolute favorite show when I was little. And
I'm pretty sure the opening song starts with a big giant waking up and
then turning on his "Castle Music Box", so it's kinda fitting . . .
First Day of School Change the World - Eric Clapton
* Haha, an ambitious song for the first day of school, but I guess it never hurts to set high goals . . .
Falling in Love Crazy for this Girl - Evan and Jaron
* This is one of those times where it's creepy how well the song fits . . .
Breaking Up Torn - Natalie Imbuglia
*Whoa, another very fitting song . . .
Prom One Short Day - Stephen Schwartz/ Wicked soundtrack
*Well I suppose it's true that prom is only one short day in the scheme of things . . .
Life's Okay My Favorite Mistake - Sheryl Crow
*Apparently I make a lot of mistakes in life . . .
Mental Breakdown Movin' Out (Anthony's Song) - Billy Joel
*Haha, another fitting one - I just hope that working too hard doesn't give me a "heart attack-ack-ack-ack-ack-ack"
Driving Over Tokyo - Collective Soul
*Apparently I'm driving over Tokyo . . .
Flashback Another Day - Air
*sorta fitting I guess . . .
Getting Back Together
Back to You - John Mayer
*another perfect fit . . .
Wedding Happy Together - The Turtles
*whoa, another weirdly perfect fit
Birth of a Child
Cryin' - Aerosmith
*Haha, the song content isn't as fitting here by the song title is . . .
Final Battle Buddy Holly - Weezer
*I love this song - and the opening lyrics are quite fitting to a battle scene . . .
Death Scene The Truth - Good Charlotte
* I
don't know if I've ever listened to this song - but it's very slow and
kinda sad sounding - it sorta sounds like a death song they'd use on
The OC or something
Funeral Song Mama I'm Coming Home - Ozzy Ozbourne
*The title is quite fitting
End Credits Agnus Dei from Requiem K626 - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
*Kinda random, but I guess the "agnus dei" is the closing part to a traditional Catholic mass, so I guess it works . ..

| Happy 3rd Birthday Gabriela Mackenzie Beachey!Today is my darling niece Gabby's third birthday. She's getting
so big. I won't get to see her again until this summer, and by
then she will have a brand new baby sister. My brother said that
upon seeing the first sonogram of her baby sister, Gabby exclaimed, "Oh
look at the cute little baby squirrel!" Haha, oh Gabby.
She's a princess.

| Happy Valentine's Day!
My name is Cupid Valentino, the modern day Cupid
And I just want to say one thing
Happy Valentine's Day
Every day the 14th!
I don't think y'all heard me!
I just wanna say
Happy Valentine's Day!
Every day the 14th!
Can y'all dig that?
Now when arrows don't penetrate, see
Cupid grabs the pistol (Uh, yeah, now, now lookie here!)
And he shoots straight for your heart
And when he won't miss you!
That's alright 'cause y'all won't believe in me anyways
But..
Ya won't believe in me, but you would fancy
leprechauns or groundhogs
No thank you, Easter Bunny!
(There's all this talk about Santa Claus, but see
love will rule reign supreme)
Happy Valentine's Day
Every day the 14th! (You got it!)
When Cupid knocks at your door
You can't ignore me!
There's no need to run!
So,
Happy Valentine's Day (Hey!)
Every day the 14th!
I may have it all wrong, see
If you know what loves mean, well
Well, somebody tell me!
'Cuz they just don't believe in me!
Ya' won't believe in me, but you would fancy
leprechauns or groundhogs
No thank you, Easter Bunny!
(There's so much fuss about Santa Claus, but see
Cupid will not be defeated!)
Happy Valentine's Day
Every day the 14th!
Now I know your hearts have grown cold
And that bothers me
Now I understand 'cause I use to be a bad boy in my day
I know you're trying to protect your lil' feelings
but you can't run away
Oooh ooh!
Ya' won't believe in me, but you would fancy..
(Hey! Don't you supposed to be some kind of player or something?)
Bunny!
Well keep on runnin', player
'Cause I got my good shoes on
And I got 'em tied up tight
So, you're going to find out tonightttttttttt!
Got a sweet lil' darling back in my corner
Below I know I love her, but act like I don't want her
Surrounded by the lonely, but yet feel like a loner
Could be an organ donor
The way I give up my heart, but
Never know because – shit, I never tell her!
Ask me about my feelings I'd holla' that it's irrela'
I don't get myself caught up in the Jello gella'
And puddin' pops, that others opt to call falling in love, but
For the record, have you ever rode a horse?
Would I like for you to take me to Pluto?
I said, "Of course!"
But if you ain't a sweety indeedy, I won't endorse
Hans Solo till I'm hit by the bullet, so may the force
Be with you, and I'll hit you when better time permits
For now, give me examples of why you're the shit!
But how am I to know with the profession that I'm in?
And if you do not know me, then how could you be my friend?
Happy Valentine's, Happy Valentine's
Happy Valentine's Day,
Happy Valentine's Day | | |
| Oh the Boredom of Touring Week . . .Wow, I havn't updated in eons. There's not a heckuva lot to
say. I just got done with J-term which was a month of Bat Boy the
Musical. Rehearsals were long - sometimes starting at 8:30 in the
morning and sometimes going until 10:00 at night. But they were
fun for the most part and we got a lot done. Performances aren't
until mid February. Everyone who's at GAC should go see it - it
should be fun, and there's a big animal orgy if you're into that sort
of thing, haha. Anyway, with J-term being over, I have a week off
from school and have been sitting around at home bored out of my
mind. There's really not much to do during the day because
everybody else is in school. Woot. I've spent a lot of
yesterday and today watching the first 8 episodes of the O.C.
Excitement. And I've washed a white shirt of mine 5 times within
the past two days because this red stain won't come out. Grrr.
Anyway, yeah not much else to say. So the end.
