our first natural disastereeeeeeeeekkkk we had to evacuate our house last night coz the irvine fire was kinda close to our house. well it wasn't mandatory but since all our neighbors were packing up we didn't wanna be left behind. it was scary but cool at the same time.. i guess the fire started around 6pm we dind't see it until 7. I went to walk hunter around 7pm and thought the surrounding was a lil odd.. it was real dark for 7pm. anyway, i was like la la la walking the lil doggy and saw some guy running with a video camera.. everything was also real quiet and no one was outside. THENNNNNNNNNNNNN I turned around to go home and I was like OHHH SHIttt.. the mountain was on FIRE!! I started running home and I guess around the same time our neighbors found out too! all the garages were open and everyone was loading their car. the back of the house faces the mountain and thats why we didn't see anything or smell the smoke. sooooooooo anyway, i called my other neighbor and she dind't know what was going on either haha coz she was sleeping! the fire moved fast in that 1 hour! we decided to evacuate too and packed up our personal stuff. now the funny part.. we drove all the way to vince's parents house in san macros to avoid all thats going on in irvine.. errrrrrrrr they have a FIRE TOO and its BIGGER than ours!! LOL LOL.. what a joke huh?? but their house is further from the fire so its not as bad. I'm working remote from their house today and my coworkers described irvine as the world coming to an end... the sky is orange, it's unbelieveable windy and smokeyy!! scarryyyyyyyyyyy. our neighbor also told us that it got better this morning but it looks like its getting worse again.. the smoke is unbeareable and trees are everywhere coz of the wind. Cali is crazyyy,, there are a few fires going on at the same time. crazyness!! i don't know about going back home tomorrow.. i'll have to keep up with the news to decide. ugh i wish we took some pictures!! we were in a rush to get outta there. What did I learn from all this? - we need to move our arse faster in an emergency! it took us about 1.5 hours to pack and get out. I guess we were semi rushing but we couldn't decide on what to bring.. and we brought everything hahaha. i guess i'll be wearing something old. grr i can't find my box of going out shoes, i think it's either in my mom's garage or vince's parent's. hahah we stored so much of our crap at their houses sometimes we forget where we put them. 
i think i "met" a friend last night! ThanQ bailey for your sacrifice, i hope you're having a good life with your new fam. hehehhe.
