Wow!  Where do I begin?  A lot has transpired since the last time I blogged.  First of all, I'm currently in the 2nd sem of the nursing program of El Centro.  After a semester break, I got back.  I returned with a little bit of bitterness and anger towards the school for not letting me back in earlier.  But the fact of the matter is there simply wasn't enough space for me and one of the instructors for clinical had passed away.  I guess I've been given another chance to make it better, learn from my mistakes, and try to be more positive.  So far this time around seems somewhat easier in the sense that I have an idea of what is to come.  Everything is not so new and uncertain. 

These past few weeks, I was able to work in postpartum(women who just had their babies and their babies).  I love babies...their just so adorable.  I want to have some someday.  Not anytime soon tho. 

This week I will be witnessing labor and deliveries.  I'm sure it'll be gross, educating and hopefully a good experience.  Last semester, I never got to see any b/c I left before that rotation began.  I'll be sure to give graphic details as to how it turns out...if anyone wants to know. 

This Friday will be the first lecture test.  I started studying already b/c I know my previous study methods and procrastinating and cramming till the last minute just don't work.  I still have to recheck on my SQ injection.  All because of the dang ID band.  Grrr....Practice makes perfect.  I should have learned that by now.  Well anyway, peace out.
