i really hate not being on xanga for long periods of time
i havent been updating because ive been busy
when we were in texas, wendy had the baby
her name is Tallulah Mae
Weight: 7 lbs 15 oz
Length: 19 1/2 in

she was born by c-section on June 4
for the next few days
we went back and forth between wendy and michael's and the hospital
then she was finally able to come home
for the next few days, mainly my mom helped with the baby
on june 11th, we left to come back to louisiana
we got home at about 6am
that night, we went to spend the night with my grandparents
so that we could see them before we left
we came back to my house the next day
my parents took everyone out to eat at The Mellow Mushroom
and by every one i mean, me, jenni, barbie, jason, and obviously my parents
we went to sleep late that night
on june 13th, me and jenni left to go to tennessee
we woke up at about 530
and even with it being a 14 hour long drive, it wasnt so bad
it went by pretty fast
or at least a lot faster than i expected
we got there at about midnight
and the next day we had to go to a bbq at her dad
and i met a good bit of her family
but i have to say that my favorite person is emily
shes jennis niece
within the next few days, we got a gerbil
hes gray and white and we named him Princess Chichi
the only way you would understand the name
is if youve ever seen To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar
petsmart told us that gerbils worked really well in pairs
so the next day, we went back to get another one
we got a brown one
his name is Prince Despereaux
and to understand that name, youd have to read The Tale Of Despereaux
while i was there, my rock band bass pedal broke
jenni got a bunch of clothes for school and her mom even ordered me some
jenni asked me to look at some clothes
and she kept saving the links and i didnt realize it
and i ended up getting two shirts, a pair of lounge pants, jeans, and flip flops
we cleaned up a good bit and bought a bunch of stuff for the kitchen
like spoons, forks, baking stuff, spatulas, etc
jenni got a new bed set
we just hung out for the rest of the time
i met her grandma and she loves me
we came back on July 26th after staying for about 6 weeks
my orientation was on the 30th
i got my schedule on the first day of school
which was the 8th
my classes are
PE(H)
Free Enterprise
French II
English III(H)
i tried to get in English AP
but they said that i had to take honors english first
but thats pretty dumb because a bunch of other people got in
when they requested it without having to take honors
at first they put me in regular english
but i was so bored with our work
and i couldnt connect with anyone in that class
so i switched out
and who else thinks that its a joke that we have Honors PE?
we got a foreign exchange student in our French class
shes really nice and she sits right next to me
her name is Wu Mung Tip
shes a lot better at French than me
Josten's visited our school last week so we could order our rings
i already have mine designed
and we are supposed to go to the school tomorrow to order it

our mascot is a spartan
and my last name is Hodge
under the stone will be a fleur de lis
i cant wait to get it
my school's name is East Ascension
so you could imagine what it looks like
i finally got my Rock Band pedal in yesterday
it works really well

i took a video of it last night
before, i wasnt able to do 100% on expert on Say It Aint So
last night, the first time i played it, i was able to
so it has definitely improved my score
and on almost all the songs ive played on expert, ive gotten 5 gold stars

ive started reading the Twilight books
im only on page 230ish because i cant get to a bookstore
as soon as i buy New Moon ill pick it back up
i bought Zombie Haiku a couple weeks ago
it was really good but only for people who really like zombies

yesterday was alex's birthday party
on friday we went and played laser tag
and afterwards, we just hung out at her house
in the morning we woke up at about 9 or 930
and her parents rented a huge waterslide
so we went outside and played around on that
we got hurt pretty bad a few times
my feet, knees and elbow are all messed up but its okay
after that, a few of us went tubing
brooke and chris went for a little while but then they had to leave
the rest of the time it was me, john, zach, dallis, easy t, kristina, tony and a few other people
a few of us had been tubing before but it was mine and john's first time
it was actually a lot of fun though
i wasnt expecting it to be
im really sore today though
but ill be okay
everytime we go to alex's house for her birthday
her dad always takes us tubing
i ordered a Cannibal Holocaust japanese poster from ebay
it looks awesome and i cant wait to get it

while i was in tennessee my family moved
im really glad because i was sick of living there
my room is a lot bigger
and my mom bought me a new bed
i used to have a twin and now i have a full
and she got me new sheets, pillows, a new comforter, etc
she framed a bunch of my posters
everything is black and white

shes here
im out of school
on the 20th i took all of my exams before 9
because jenni and my mom were going to go see my grandma
and i wanted to see her before i left too
so they packed up all my stuff
and i got checked out at around 1145 or 12
so we head over to my grandparents house
so that my mom cant get her grandmothers ring from my grandma
its a ring that has all of the birthstones on it for all the grandkids
so we leave maurepas at about 130
we go to the bank and then to cracker barrel
because thats where we always eat when we have a long drive
we finally leave to REALLY go to texas at about 230 or 3
we get here at around 2
wendy wanted my mom here when they tried to turn her
in case it induced labor
when they tried to turn her she was in a lot of pain from the cyst
because they had to push on where it was
and it hurt her really bad
so they couldnt finish the turning
and so she went to the doctor a couple days ago
and they said that she was trying to turn herself
but shes already so big that she can only get half way
her head switches between her left side near her ribs and right below her breast bone
her feet switch between her right side and whatever she can rest them on down there
the doctor said that its practically impossible for her to turn
he said that when he tried to turn her
but wendy and michael want to wait to see if she'll still turn by herself
because they want to do a natural birth
but its just not going to happen
they scheduled a c-section for the 4th at 1230
so wendy will spend 4 days in recovery in the hospital
michael wont come home that entire time
hes going to sleep, eat, and shower at the hospital
because he doesnt want to leave wendy or the baby
and i dont know if i told you the name or not
but theyre naming her Tallulah Mae
we're expecting her to have red hair or be bald
and blue or green eyes
they took some maternity photos that ill probably put up
i could have sworn that i did but i guess not
so thats our update from the 20th until now
after she gets out of recovery
my brother and her wife will be here
and im really glad for that
because i miss them
and im EXTREMELY homesick
so is jenni though
shes farther away from home than i am
we all plan to leave on the 11th
on the 11th we'll drop my mom off at the house
and me and jenni will go to my grandparent's house to eat supper
and spend the night
on the 12th we'll eat breakfast and hang out for a bit then go home
and hang out there too
me, jenni, jason, barbie, mama, and daddy are going out to eat that night at The Mellow Mushroom
i cant wait
ive only had cheesesticks from there
but they were good
my dad really liked it and jason and barbie love it
and for the most part i like what they eat
we'll go back to the house and hang out and sleep
and on the 13th we'll wake up and me and jenni will head out to tennessee
we're going up there to fix up the house
her mom is giving us her house
right now she has about a $30,000 mortgage on it
shes going to keep paying on it until we move in
which will be late may/early june of 2010
its a really nice house
we decided that we're going to have a movie room
which is the dining room right now
we bought a Beatles Let It Be poster
and a Grindhouse poster
i already had a Murder Party, Hatchet, Napoleon Dynamite, Savages, There Will Be Blood, Eastern Promises, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Meriwether, Janis Joplin, Rocky Horror, Rocky horror collectible comic books
i cant think of anymore but if i can ill edit and list them
for the bathroom we're doing a pin-up girls theme
i bought a Playboy vintage type poster from hot topic
and thats limited edition too so im really glad that i got that

jenni painted a corset type thing for the bathroom to put toothbrushes in

one time when my mom and wendy went to hobby lobby
they bought jenni some stuff
and she called my mom and said that she got her something
and i was picking with her and acted all jealous
so she decided that she would get me something too
she was trying to find something religious to make me laugh
but she found something way cooler
it was a little wooden native on a motorcycle

we went back yesterday because i was homesick again
and i was crying really hard
when i get bored i get homesick
so me, wendy and mama went to hobby lobby again
and we got two more little natives for me
ones playing the bongo and ones holding a dijerydo
thats what i think it is anyway

we talked to jason and found out that hes not going to be able to come
because barbie has to start her internship on monday
i was really looking forward to them coming but they cant
sometime between the 20th and now we went to the main event
which is kind of like a Celebration Station
it has a bowling alley in it, an arcade, a place to buy stuff with tickets that you won
but you dont use coins
you use cards
you slide a card through a game and it charges your Main Event card
they have rock climbing and something called glow golf
its mini golf with black lights and designs on the wall that shine under the black light
we have pictures but i cant upload them right now
and i took one on my cell but it didnt come out very well
they had a huge whale on one wall and penguins on another
and a mammoth on another
and it was just really cool
the balls were glowing too
but when you start off on your card, at least for that day, you get 10 dollars
we played ski ball with most of our cards because we wanted something thats 6,000 tickets
and they dont give you physical tickets, you get tickets on your card
you can keep putting money on your card too
we have about 2100 tickets on our card
its a framed picture of The Beatles with two guitar picks in the frame
it looks really cool
and it was the very first thing that i saw when i walked in
last night me, jenni and mama went to see a midnight showing of Rocky Horror
its put on by the Queerio's
the girl that played Columbia looked like a friend of mine but she definitely wasnt
me and jenni were virgins so they called everyone that were to the front
girl with girl and guy with guy
the person in the front had to bend over and grab their ankles
and the person in the back had to hump the front one
while the audience sung the Oscar Meyer wiener song
before we did that though
we had to raise our right hand
grab our crotch with our left and repeat some lines
it was really fun though
we got prop bags
i got a tan and learned how to swim
i bleached my hair and im going to do pink and turquoise checkers after we leave
jenni did her hair pink and the chlorine from the pool washed it right out
we go to the pool for about 2-3 hours every day
i really like the water now
we bought goggles and nose plugs so im getting better at diving
and i can do a handstand and a front flip and a back flip now
me and jenni went to Waterloo Records about a week or so ago
thats where we bought the Let It Be and Grindhouse posters
while we were there we bought a The Postal Service single record

its been a while since ive updated
nothing has really happened for me to update about though
so if i had updated
it would have been pointless
jenni gets here on sunday
i only have one day of school left
my sister should have the baby on about Wednesday
so we're going to leave REALLY early on Tuesday morning
instead of after school on Thursday
im kind of happy about that
but if we do that
i cant go to Carver for field day for the kids
id rather be in Texas than with them anyway though
i have to take my exams
i only have two
civics and english
english will be really easy
civics will be kind of hard but ill live
as long as i go over it before the test
civics isnt my strong subject

Cambodian Troops Quarantine Quan'sul

There has been a small outbreak of “zombism” in a small town near the border of Laos in North-Eastern Cambodia.

The culprit was discovered to be mosquitoes native to that region carrying a new strain of Malaria which thus far has a 100 percent mortality rate and kills victims in fewer than 2 days.

After death, this parasite is able to restart the heart of its victim for up to two hours after the initial demise of the person where the individual behaves in extremely violent ways from what is believed to be a combination of brain damage and a chemical released into blood during “resurrection.”

Cambodian officials say that the outbreak has been contained and the public has no need to worry.

General Ary Serey had this to say, "We have obtained samples of this new parasite and plan to learn how it starts the heart and other major organs of the deceased. We intend to use this to increase the quality of life for all."

US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice opposed the plan saying that the Cambodian government holds a great biological weapon and should destroy it immediately. Cambodian officials have yet to comment.

A United Nations team will be dispatched to Cambodia to confirm the safety of biological research in Cambodia.

but zombies scare the crap out of me

its not because of the movies
but theyre just plain scary
and from what this article says
these arent regular moaning zombies
theyre like 28 days/weeks later zombies
super violent

but that whole situation is crazy
only three weeks left of school
im not even excited
im going to get grand theft auto tomorrow from blockbuster
MADD(Mothers Against Drunk Driving)are throwing a big hissy fit
about people driving and driving on the game
that kind of makes me mad
theres a distinct difference between a game and real life
the game's rating is M for mature audiences only
meaning only ages 18+ can purchase it
renting or otherwise
so they should, especially, know the difference between real life and a game
people freak out too much about things they shouldnt be worrying about

i watched juno on sunday night
finally
me and jenni watched it
it was really good
i think that people over-hyped it
but it was still a really good movie
i thought it would be mainstream comedy funny
but it was more of an indie comedy
which is what it was
i was surprised
but it was a pleasant surprise

instead of going to the mellow mushroom
we're going to go to cane's
its a chicken finger fast food place
but it has amazing food
they ONLY make chicken fingers, french fries, coleslaw and toast
we're not going to see Godspell either
we didnt realize it was a musical about jesus
i cant wait until the day of silence
the entire panic at the disco cd is awesome
and i cant wait until the weezer cd comes out

yesterday me and jason(my brother)
had a movie night
earlier in the day i watched The Neverending Story
it was the first time i watched it
it looked like a combination of Labyrinth
and The Princess Bride
but they story was really good
im not gonna lie though
i cried
when jason came over
we watched Sleepaway Camp
Wilderness
and P2
Sleepaway Camp was awesome
a lot better than i thought it would be
we thought Wilderness was going to be a movie
that we'd be making fun of
but it was a really serious good modern day horror
more of a suspense than horror though
P2 was okay
it had good parts
but as a whole it wasnt very good
Alexandre Aja did better on High Tension
even though he didnt direct P2
he wrote the screenplay or whatever
so i dont want to compare the two
but it was okay
jenni will be here on friday
her birthday is wednesday
so shes coming for that
im going to bake her a cake
and we're gonna go out to eat at the Mellow Mushroom
barbie and jason might come
depending on if she has to work
then we're going to go see Baby Mama
then when we get home she get to open her presents
there might be pictures from that day
but im not sure
the next day we're going to see my grandparents
itll be me, jenni, jason and barbie
maybe my mom
my grandma is making layered spaghetti and peach cobbler
and i cant wait
her food is always really good
later that night we're going to the Ascension Community Theatre
and theyre putting on a play called Godspell
we're ushering for that night
with a couple of my friends
but we get in free
shes going to taste Zapp's for the first time
anyone who doesnt know what that is

my school doesnt have any problem with my hair
but since i go teach 5th graders once a week
my hair is 'inappropriate for that setting'
they wont let me on campus
and it really aggrivates me
because i make straight As
if not, i make all As and really high Bs
and the fact that they wont let me on campus ticks me off
the class LOVES me and vernon
they talk about us after we leave
and they cant wait until we come back
and we really try to make it as fun as possible for them
mrs barbera is the teacher that i have that class with
and shes the one that trains us to go out and teach
said that no one at EA has a problem with it
but she would talk to Mrs Avery(our principal)
and see if i could wear a hat on friday
we were originally going to go tomorrow
but we had to push it back because
a.) vernon wasnt here today to go over the lesson
b.) she needs confirmation that i could go with a hat
its ridiculous because the kids wouldnt care
theyd talk for a minute or so about it
and then they get on track
theyre smart kids
a LOT smarter than we thought they would be
this situation just aggravates me SO bad

ive been lazy
so i havent been taking surveys to get credits
when i get 15,000
im getting jenni 6 months of premium
theres no point in me keeping the credits
ill never use them
and i know i wont
for next school year
ill probably drop IBCA
and add Art 1
ive already taken my computer course
they should put Paramore on the next Rock Band
