this is my last xanga entry...

i'll still be checking everyone's entries but i'm no longer going to write...

soph year was off to a pretty good start
lotta credits this semester and a bunch of stuff to balance...
the tournament at TCNJ this weekend was pretty sweet...
it was nice not always losing...
we ended the tournament with a 2-3 record...

the injuries i sustained weren't as nice as the injuries i normally get...
besides the blisters and grass burns...
yesterday, i got plowed over by two guys and my right ear/neck is bruised...and the rest of my neck is sore
today, i got sandwiched between two defenders when going up to block a huck...that team was overly aggressive >:O i think i only have a bruise below my ribcage but its too early to tell if i got any more damage since i'm feeling so crappy...

i hope that i recover for wed. morning soccer...that would be nice =)
the weekend was still great though...since it was a 5-2 (guys/girls) tournament...i got to really take advantage of my handling skills and my agility...i burned so many girls deep it was insane...my cuts got better along with my outside-in throws...

well....besides that...my relationship is going strong...10 months and counting....
my roommates are great and my apartment is just right =)

Quick update because I haven't update in the longest time:

Wildwood was KICK ASS! Definitely going back next year...got to learn more about people and chill out. Totally loved my team. Saw a bunch of other ultimate people: Hong, Lemony, Alex Grin...and my favorite: Mike Tribuzzi! =) Broke a few "rules" that didn't sit well when I got home...but all is well now, I guess.

Started working at Baker's office. Its nice getting paid for a few days a week and just chillin' out. Nothing I can't handle, which is cool. AND I get to meet cool freshmen!

Moved halfway into my apartment...hung out with NYU Joe and reunited with the Swiss girls, Abby and Kendra, along with the NY boys, Matt and Jon, from the cruise =) It was unbelievable! Joe stayed over at my apartment and we got to stay up late and talk...I <3 my godbrother so much!

Went to New Hampshire for a long weekend. Went camping, water tubing on the river...cooked hot dogs and made s'mores around the campfire. Did some bowling and ultimate playing.

I've been doing more work at Baker's and helping out with a lot of upcoming athletics stuff at Cooper =) Also, been playing some ultimate here and there...some more tomorrow, hopefully. Some more apartment stuff, like furniture shopping...planning on moving in next Saturday! I <3 IKEA!

Been dealing with a bit of ups and downs but I think I can handle it. Yile is coming to visit soon and I can't wait! Cape Cod is coming up and I'm sure that's a blast...

The new things I got this summer are definitely putting me in a feel-good mood:
-Roxy orange bikini
-Roxy baby blue board shorts
-Sandisk Titanium Cruzer 1GB flash drive (my old one broke!)
-Panasonic digital camera (James bought it...and apparently it takes good action shots!)
-V for Vendetta DVD

hmm...i'm eyeing a Nike tote for the end of August when I get my next paycheck...yummmm =)

I think there's only one thing missing from my summer...hanging out more with Thomas and Salina! Dunno when I'll be seeing Thomas next but I'll see Salina soon!! =D

Okay, this wasn't exactly the short entry I promised...oops...I just got a little "keyboard-happy"??

Oh yeah, I'm so proud of the Yankees right now AND I'm cheering for Staten Island, NY and Portsmouth, NH for the Little League World Series! I hope they get a chance to bring down Japan! =)

paris was awesome, especially when the parisians were celebrating after beating spain on champ-elysees!!

venice was really nice too...although the gondolas didn't exactly live up to my expectations

THE FOOD omg...the food in europe is so good

in barcelona at the moment...will be heading out on the cruise on sunday!

WORLD CUP...brazil finally lost! yes! i'll be celebrating 4th of july here watching germany v. italy ass!!

i miss playing ultimate but its not that bad because experiencing all these new things is fun =) i also miss people back in the states...i'll be back soon!!!

finally, a nice weekend...really nice...the weather was perfect!

went to james' house on friday. bummed around friday night. woke up saturday and played frisbee with their dog, zoe. then, went to hanover to pick up james' friends: truly, andy and henry. drove around on his boat...james let me drive =) watched world cup soccer: usa v. italy. then we tried to set off a potato cannon, but it didn't work...we did figure out that hairspray isn't as flammable as they say it is...watched a movie, ate dinner and hung out. saw the most ridiculous thing at night...thousands of lightning bugs in the fields behind james' house. it was crazy. it was almost like a choreographed light show or something. we walked halfway up the field and just stood there in awe =D this morning we watched the aussies take on brazil and then, went to west lebanon and got food. also bought loads of lindt chocolate for a shitload cheaper than in nyc. and then drove back to unh.

it was such a nice weekend...i'm kinda bummed that i have only a week left up here...but hey! the trip to europe is quickly approaching!

started the week at UNH with my cool roommate alyssa and met a cool dude named shaun. alyssa and i were yankees fans in red sox territory! it was awesome.

james drove down and picked me up on friday and we went to his house. basically this weekend has been mind-blowing! he took me to a drive-in movie theater...they still exist! we cleaned out his boat and took it out on the river. drove a lawnmover...lol did some laying in the sun on the boat...nice and quiet. and last night we had a bonfire (my first!) that james and i built and started. massive house party (40-50 people) because it was darren's post-prom event. didn't get much sleep.

planning on a movie tonight and then tomorrow head back to UNH. gonna get in touch with allan and meet up with him on wednesday.

i hope the summer is going to continue to be so eventful...wow
my conclusion for the weekend...at heart i think i am part country girl.
