hey y'all well I've turned into a good litle southern girl while I've been away!!! I'm learnin how to speak southern, eat southern, walk southern and act southern. Basically the trick is to talk slow, eat slow, walk slow and act slow. SLOW SLOW SLOW. that's really what life is arouns here. pretty fun, but way different than the good old home state of NEW YORK!!! i get called a D*** yankee several times a day (expletive censored for racial non-discrimination legality purposes). I get made fun of for the way i say truck, back, hairy, manure, pop (not soda or coke), ten, pen, ben, salad, italian, around, house, you guys, and many many more things. pretty funny because i make people laugh really hard just by speaking! So that's basically the update for now. I am certainly missing everyone there terribly and can't wait to get home, but I think this is a really great experience for me. I've got an awesome church where the worship leader sounds like a mix between jason upton and chris tomlin (WOO HOO). And i am getting to hang out with all the cousins. so that's heaps of fun!!! The best thing yet's been when Adam got to come see me:) even if it was just for two days it was AWESOME:) and if Chris or Chelsea do xanga now...CONGRATULATIONS!!!

love you all and talk to you SOON!!!

So it's 2 days to graduation!!!YIPES STRIPES!!!! A little scary, but cool all at the same time. Mostly I['m nervous about leaving b-town for 2.5 months. The longest I've ever been away is when I went to Romania for 18 days. That's not really that long. So yeah. Anyways, I think I'm in love. WITH TONY ALMEIDA (yeah those of you who are obsessed with 24 would understand). He's just SUCH a hunk!!! ok I'm kidding, but he IS pretty dreamy. I started atching season 2 on DVD last night with Gretch and really couldn't stop. We watched until 1am:) oops, I then had a really really really hard time waking up for data collection for my research study this morning. oh well.

So today i'm off to graduation rehearsal where i'll stand around for hours with hundreds of people I don't know, listening to them talk about things I don't care about such as how drunk they were the night before, who slept where, how many times they threw up and who was SO FUNNY!. Gosh, get a life. Then it's off to the senior banquet where I'll get to see firsthand (like every other time this week), just how stupid my "classmates" (all the hundreds of people I don't know) get when they're wasted. THAT SHOULD BE FUN!!! Does it seem to anyone else that people should be able to have fun in life without having to be so intoxicated that they have to pretend they remember what a good time they had with you?! Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I just am getting tired of the "glazed like a Krispy Kreme" look that my friends have had in their eyes for like 2 weeks now. It just doesn't do much for me.

I guess that's enough of that. It's been fun being able to hang out with my friends, I just wish I had friends who liked to do wholesome things like...bowling So anyobody who'd like to be my firned and do wholesome things like bowling (or watching 24 for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and h...........), just let me know and I'll see if I can fit you into my extremely busy schedule. TTFN, ta ta for now!!!

So one month from yesterday is graduation day... is that kinda scary to anyone but me??? I guess there are a few things that I've always thought about college graduation. 1. you have to be kinda old to be graduating from college. 2. you havce to be ready for real adult responsibility ie JOB  3. you have to begin wearing thing that are slightly adult-ish (ie not a strawberry shortcake t-shirt or hot pink capris) 4. you have to do adult things like pay bills, talk to your friends about your health problems, "use your money wisely," live on your own and even get "exciting" things like your very own wok.
As you've probably gathered by now, I don't seem to fit these qualifications so I suppose I'll have to change my preconceived notions of a college graduate. I don't feel that I'm old, i'm certainly not ready for all the adult responsibility that YOUR MOM is, I will only be paying my car payment and no others for at least a couple more years, I couldn't care less about a wok and I sure as heck will not be ceasing to wear pink pants, my strawberry shortcake t-shirt OR my FEETY-PAJAMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!! (just kidding, I don't even have feety-pajamas, but I sure do wish I did................) check you later dudes, I gotta go make some headbands for my brothers  CURIOUS AREN'T YOU!!!!!!!! MWA HA HA HA

So I woke up this morning feeling as though I'd been hit by a truck!!! Therefore, i fell back into bed for an extra 2 hours, THEN went to school. So I still don't feel that great ( more like I got hit by a Volkswagon Beetle, which is significantly better than a truck, but still). Sick of school, but excited that I only have 12 days of class left before I'm out of the classroom and ACTUALLY DOING PT until JANUARY!!! YIPES STRIPES!!! ok, so that's all, I now have to go learn how to fix some back problems. Hasta la pasta!!!!!
