Hmmm...school is as busy as ever, and I do not do well with 17 hour days....yuck. On a more interesting note, Brit is reading a book for an economics/social science class (I'll see if I can get the quote) that was talking about the theory of evolution and how it states that throughout history when a species undergoes difficult times (lack of water/ food, disease, natural disaster) that the species becomes stronger and evolves into a higher state in order to deal with the tragedy and to ward off future tragedies of the like. Interestingly enough, research proves this wrong, when tested over a long period of time, researchers have noted that species that undergo trauma actually weaken and die. So contrary to our "enlightened" evolutionary theory, squirels that are put under stress do not turn into super-squirels and morph into a more advanced state; they actually suffer from more sickness, more genetic weaknesses and more fatalities.........interesting, huh?

After years of training to be an old maid with 200 cats, I am now having to abandon all my hopes and dreams...I'm engaged. He must be crazy! Hee hee!

I have a wedding in Vail today....I'm gonna have to be there for a total of 9 hours... yikes! I think the more weddings I do the more I am resolved never to have one... they seem so trite now...the cheesy poetry.. pachelbel cannon (which I believe I've played at every wedding I've ever done)...crying brides disengaged (no pun intended) grooms....It's a funny job I guess! Anyway, I'm really really eager to get home. I like Denver but it's lonely and I miss Nip and M &D... Heather too, although she's always in IC anyway..... (youmust visit more often!!!!) Brit's gone too...boo hoo....... any advise to make the days pass quicker? I'm pulling a "hannah" and crossing off all the calander dates in black marker :). Silly me! Well, Hope this isn't too depressing of a post. Keep in touch everybody!

eegads (spelling.. you get tthe point), I have been in an opera pit for too long and I'm going batty (Sp? once again.....urg). And I have to play the 25 min. Tchaik concerto 1st movement in class tomorrow...... I've decided to try to think of hannah dancing as I play in order to destract myself from the fact that everyone is out there listening...... Sorry this is about as exciting as my life gets! Heather, Han, Matt, Tamara: I MISS YOU all (Matt you're now an adopted caylor, hope you don't mind!) Kristina, Alyssa: great to hear from you.... how are you both? Anyway, my hands are already calmmy and I'm in a catatonic state. I think I should switch majors and be an accountant......I can't handle the stress! Gotta go. Hope you all are doing well!
