Hmmm...school is as busy as ever, and I do not do well with 17 hour days....yuck. On a more interesting note, Brit is reading a book for an economics/social science class (I'll see if I can get the quote) that was talking about the theory of evolution and how it states that throughout history when a species undergoes difficult times (lack of water/ food, disease, natural disaster) that the species becomes stronger and evolves into a higher state in order to deal with the tragedy and to ward off future tragedies of the like. Interestingly enough, research proves this wrong, when tested over a long period of time, researchers have noted that species that undergo trauma actually weaken and die. So contrary to our "enlightened" evolutionary theory, squirels that are put under stress do not turn into super-squirels and morph into a more advanced state; they actually suffer from more sickness, more genetic weaknesses and more fatalities.........interesting, huh?

Heidi!  Hope your 17-hour days don't leave you too stressed and tragic, or you will morph like those squirrels.    j/k  But it is an interesting thought; hooray for science and truth!  Take care, friend...

Hi Friend!  I've learned that stress just makes us more stressed.  I've gone through some, and I don't feel like superwoman, so I don't think I morfed anywhere.  I dislike that

The knee is just a recurring problem I picked up doing something - I haven't figured out what, though.  Maybe standing on ladders?  Maybe kneeling a lot with Phillip?  Maybe having to go down our stairs sideways to avoid hitting my head?  Not sure what to attribute it to!  Thanks for your concern

Everything is going pretty good - staying busy (not as busy as you!) getting ready for a quick two day trip down to KC when Joseph flies in for his three week visit from AK.

How's the wedding planning going?  Exciting, but stressful at the same time, isn't it?!  Take lotsa pictures - we don't have many of us during our engagement, due to the stress and the mess.  I'd better stop, since I am starting to rhyme.

Call me whenever you get a spare minute and want to chat - like there are spare minutes in a 17 hour day!

Take care!       ~ Beth

3 cheers for Heidi posting! Hip, hip, hooray!

(as opposed to "nip, nip, hooray!", which is obviously a cheer for Hannah)

So when is your school break?

I'd love to see you, but don't know if we could get away.  How's the wedding planning coming a long?

Give me a call sometime when you aren't too busy!

~ Beth
