| | before i headed out last nite...i watched the new martha show that my roomie tivo'd. i think america loves comeback stories. lord knows ms. m's time at camp cupcake wasn't anything we've witnessed in oz, but the fact that she's bounced back from really bad pr to relaunching her brand in a fresh way, is pretty hardcore. the most hardcore thing about the show, which was celebrating her mother's 91st b-day, was the fact that martha, in her typical sweet (yet conniving and evil tone) told her mother not to cry on national tv as she was surprising her with friends from the past. come on martha, it's your mom, she's 91 and if she wants to shed a tear or two, let the floodgates open. |
