| As usual I am at work. Its amazing how quickly in the day customers bring cheer and splendor to the workplace. Yesterday I had a customer tell me that he was going to call the CEO of the company to have me fired. Yes, that's right Mr. Bresnan is going to fly out to Billings Montana and fire me personally for something that I didn't even do. Oh splendid isn't it! What an honor! I love people.
I am in the middle of debating about my pending move to Missoula. The problem is that I have a good paying job and there is a college here in Billings with the program I want. Plus I work a good sked for going to class. My sister would rather I stay so that she doesn't have to find a new rooommate. I just don't want to stay here too long. There's always that fear of getting stuck. One of those things leftover from the military.
The weather is starting to get better. I am uber excited! I can't wait to start taking day trips on my days off. I need to fix my mountain bike so that I can take it out the next nice day I have off of work.

A couple of recent headlines.....

Chicago requires blind students to pass driver's ed
Miss Deaf Texas hit by train (really aweful....I wonder where Dante would put me for that one)
F-14s fly last mission. Request to buzz tower. Pattern is full.

Question of the Day (deep thoughts from Seaquest):
What does it mean?!
Apply to all necessary situations. You will find that it works to solve the problem.
| I am currently in the middle of another British kick. I have been watching all Brit movies and reading Brit authors. Oh how I miss it...pine pine....I am hoping to go visit at Winter Break.
Anyway, I am reading CS Lewis' Perelandra. Much to my surprise it took me a little bit to get into it. Usually I get right into Lewis. However, now that I am well into the book I am greatly enjoying it. I think part of the reason I had a hard time was the sensory overload. The bright and indepth description of Perelandra is so overwhelming that it is difficult to process at first. Of course, that is one of the points Lewis is trying to make. Things outside our normal sensory perception can be invigorating and exhausting.
I think that's about as deep as I can get while on break at work. Once I have had time to analyze the book more I shall post my thoughts. But, I am enjoying it very much.
| I was looking over my last few postings and realized that I haven't had anything intellectual to say as of late. Perhaps its the lost of East Coast stimulation or the absolute exhaustion from working my new job. I find it to be rather disconcerting. Perhaps after this crazy week of 7 days in a row I will have enough brain power to write about something that truly matters to me. I will work on it...... | | |
