| I ran across this today when I was separating payments and wanted to share it with you. It is a quote by C. H. Mackintosh back in 1880.
Faith has its trials as well as its answers. It is not to be imagined that the man of faith, having pushed out from the shore of circumstances, finds it all smooth and easy sailing. By no means. Again and again, he is called to encounter rough seas and stormy skies; but it is all graciously designed to lead him into a deeper and more mature experience of what God is to the heart that confides in Him. Were the sky always without a cloud, and the ocean without a ripple, the believer would not know so well the God with Whom he has to do; for alas! we know how prone the heart is to mistake the peace of circumstances with the peace of God.
Hope you're blessed today.

| Have you ever lost something/someone in your life that you never thought about not having? Today I found out that one of our security guards at work passed away. His name was Paul. Every afternoon I would go downstairs into the lobby and he would talk to me about my day, or about school or sometimes about sports. He was very friendly and I really enjoyed talking to him.
When I found out, at first I felt really sad, a feeling that has stayed with me all day, but the more I thought about it I wondered if he was a Christian. It's not something we ever talked about, but I think for the first time in my life I have become acutely aware of how urgently people need Jesus and just how important it is to share what I have. There is nothing I can do for him now and I can only hope that he felt Christ's love through me, but there is a world full of dying people who still need that love.

| Today was hectic!
I don't think there is much like the panic that comes from realizing you are already 30 minutes late for work and you just woke up. That was my morning ritual this morning. Tuesdays are super busy anyway, but today was the worst one yet! I did not stop working from 9:00 a.m. to 5:10 p.m. I even worked through my lunch and finally, I finished everything.
Didn't get to eat breakfast (for the reason read the first sentence :)) And because I worked through lunch I didn't have that either. Not healthy, I know. But, now my parents are making spaghetti and I'm really looking forward to it like I never have before. :) Yay for dinner!
