In reply to a few who wanted my thought on the "Fake it till you make it" post. . . Here it is:
I believe that the devil would like to try to make you believe that you have to fake it BUT the real deal is you have to "FAITH it till you make it." Let me say right now that I know that it is a whole lot easier for me to say that than do it, but let me tell you what -- it is so worth it!
The bible says: "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for." Hebrews 11:1-2
Faith is NOT seeing the result and still believing that it is there! The bible also says that Abraham's faith was accounted to him as righteousness and he was called a friend of God.
"And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called God's friend." James 2:23
That tells me something, if you want to be God's friend then believe, trust, and obey!
If you will do these things even when you don't feel like it, then God will surely bless you with an abundance of His love, peace, joy, and all that comes with being a friend of God!
If you want to read more about what I think about the "Fake it till you make it" scenario, read Hebrews 12. I dare you!
So, ultimately what I believe is that you don't "Fake it" you "Faith it!"
Blessings to all and MUCH LOVE!
