Happy Birthday Christy

Happy birthday to my wife, Christy, today.  She is the BIG 5-0 today!!!  She hates it, but she doesn't look or act that old.  I love her.  She's the greatest.

Happy Birthday to my son, Jay.  He is 21 years old today.  Where did that time go?

I'm so proud of this guy.  He really does have a heart for the Lord.  Please go here http://www.xanga.com/blacktylerjay to wish him a happy birthday.

Blessings to you all for a great weekend.

This is the day that the Lord has made

I will rejoice and be glad in it.  It is a beautiful morning here in western Pennsylvania.  Though I have not been outside yet, the weather man is calling for sunny skies and temps in the low 60's.  That is my kind of weather.  I'm thankful for Spring and the hope it brings of new life.

Speaking of new life, I am thankful for the new life we can have because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross and his resurrection from the dead.  Can you relate to that?  I hope so.

On the job front, I'm still unemployed, but the Lord gives me something every couple of days that is very encouraging.  One company with which I've interviewed has had me go through two interviews and three online tests.  They likely will be making me an offer by sometime next week.  I've interviewed once with two other companies and I have a first interview with a fourth company tomorrow.  I believe those interviews will result in at least one and possibly three offers.  From what I know right now, the company with which I had a first interview this past Thursday would be my first choice.  The position seems like a good fit.  In it I would work out of my home as project manager and travel to job sites as necessary.  The lower end of the compensation range mentioned for the position is higher than my salary in the position from which I was terminated!  Our God is amazing in the ways He orchestrates our lives and encourages us.  Thank you all for your prayers.  Please continue them and I will inform you as progress is made.

Well, that is all for now.  I trust you have a wonderful Sunday and that the Lord blesses you with the knowledge of His presence today.  Blessings to all who come here and read.

Resurrection Sunday

Good morning.  As we celebrate the greatest event in human history, I hope and pray you are blessed with the knowledge of the reason that event is the greatest in human history.  Without the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, we would not have the possibility of eternal life.

Blessings to all who come here and read.  He is risen!
