  • Short and Sweet!

What i have learned int he past two weeks or so:

    1. If you ask God to point out something he will.

    2. Going to bed angry doesn't help anything

    3. Living with a guilty conscience is not worth it.

    4. Worry gets you no where.

    5. Keep in contact with friends

    6. God is still in blessing business.

    7. Acting content isn't the same as being content.

    8. I like typing on this when I have no work to do.

Yeah that pretty much just sums it all up.

  • R2G2

So I have the whole weekend off. How did this happen? I have no idea.  I actually got dressed up not to go to work, but just to look nice at a graduation and a party. It was fun!   I got to see people I loved and share in the great blessings God has given them over the year. It was totally a relaxing experience. But being a introvert I am tuckered out.

The biggerst thing I just can't get over is how much I've changed actually. I mean I saw a few friends graduate saw some people fomr my high school class. Did I use to act like those seniors on the stage? The superintendaent of the Christina school I graduated fomr gave this simple messsage: If your life could be summed up into one sentence what would it be? Sre you really living your life on purpose? His outline for success for the 58 seniors was R2G2

    1. Respect those around you with actions and words

    2. Responsibility do what your asked to do

    3. Gratitude show in actions and words

    4. Genuiness know who you are and your prupose

After thinking over it I realized what he said was true. I say this because some of thoer things I learned the hard way and good way. I never realized how fake people were until I decided to be real and transparetn with people. It amazes me how doing these 4 simple things can make such a difference between me and those around me.

  • So I just got done with everything I need to do at work and even volunteered to help with a mass mailing job. Now I'm done it's about 4 and I' m scheduled til 5:00. . .My question is do I leave? This is why I ask.

     1) no one notices when I'm not gone.

    2) If I miss anything I can get it when I come in tomorrow morning.

    3) I'm obvioulsly blogging so I'm bored and

    4) if  I leave I can get a head start on my homework and can watch some TV before bed.

    Why should i stay?

    1) Some assistant my get a last minute project before 5:00

     2) I could archive some files no one ever looks at daily

    3) The schedule does say I'm here til 5:00 and

    4) with gas at $3.89/ gal. I could use the extra money.

    5) There is a party tonight for CCC May b-day's at an apartment and this would buy me time.

Hmmm. . . .after writing it out I think I'm being overcome with guilt. This is probably a sign I should

    A) get off the computer and look for a project

    B) Go ask the receptionist if she has anyhting to be done or

    C) all of the above!

Even the stuff animals on my desk seem to be staring at me weirdly. . . .and I do always tell my kids to make the wise choice in Sunday school *sigh* I think I've made a decision. . . . I shall stay.

There's only an hour left I'll live.

    I'm Engaged!

I knew the title would catch some eyes now read: (no I'm not engaged actually I am--I'm engaged in sharing my light with others now READ)

So why haven't I put anyting on my page in a while. Well I have big reasons. . I have two jobs and I am a full time student. It has been hard, but God never said it would be easy. Boy have I learned he only pormised to give us only what we could take Amen! I'm involved with Campus Crusade For Christ and I'm finding more ways to get to know people. I now have a accountability partner Ali she's the best!

I really encourage those who are in a public school or are going off to college to finds a Christian group of people to encourage you in your faith. You know this even goes to those who are in a Christian environment 24/7. Find some one who is on fire for Jesus. A few people may come to mind who other Christians look wierd--Praise God talk to them ask them why they are so crazy about Him. (What are you afraid of? Who are you trying to please?) Yeah faith in Jesus is a solid rock, but we are human (newsflash!). I went to a Christian school all my life and I was overwhelmed at college. It wasn't I had never been in the "real" world before it's just different. You find you have opinions you never thought you had. Paul reminds us to meet regulary and felowship with other belivers. It is a key ingredient to growing. To fellow Christians I come to you as your sister in Christ. Please heed my message.

If you read my other blogs you might think this one comes a surprise. Well I've grown in ways I never thought possible I have realized God as not only my Best Friend, but Provider, Comforter, and Almighty God who is over everyone and everything that I come in contact with. He has so many things he want to show you alll you have to do is ask. In James it says we have not because we ask not. I regert trying to grow up and do things be myslef because it only gave me heartbreak and emptiness. It is only when you fully rely on him in full trust not worrying (which is a sin be a student of the Word don't believe worry is a sin prove it to me :) There is no graeter peace then knowing He is in control of your life. YOU CAN'T DO IT YOURSELF!

God loves you because you are His it's as simple as that :) Because of Jesus we have the permission to help call on him Daddy take advantage of it! (Romans 8)

I read some blogs of other Christians. There are amazing people out there who love Christ Amen! Remeber you are either moving closer to God or your moving backaears there is no such thing as staying put. I bought the lie I paid for it--Be wise and do not do the same. Until next month or whenever I think to write again "Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of you heart." Psalm 37:4

    His Alone,

    Christina
