| someone told me to update....so update it is.....
.....Guess what's happening here.....
For him it was a dark passage which led to nowhere, then to nowhere, then again to nowhere, once again to nowhere, always and forever to nowhere, heavy on the elbows in the earth to nowhere, dark, never any end to nowhere, hung on all time always to unknowing nowhere, this time and again always and to nowhere, now beyond all bearing up, up, up and into nowhere, suddenly, scaldingly, holdingly all nowhere gone and time absolutely still and they were both there, time having stopped and he felt the earth move out and away from under them.
.............................
and no..that is not what i've been up to for the past 7 months and a half......
altho, for u, i dunno (: :)

| Writhing and tossing, the angry waves tirelessly maneuver its way about the mighty sea. Dark and ominous, as though ready to pounce onto the shuddering wet land, the sky stretches and retreats, reveals and hides. A mountain? Level those jagged stubborn points off! A dove? Its wings a shining glory. Descending towards the tarnished earth. What will it bring? Happiness then, if not harmony, for ever and ever ––––
Desiring peace, awaiting it, ceaselessly on the quest for harmony, for ever desiring peace – (a trumpet sounds to the left, a bell tolls to the right. Cold metals strike cruelly. A multitude of colours conglomerate in conflict) – for ever desiring – (the field is asphyxiated with fallen poppies; air chills curdling blood; fear invades) – for ever desiring peace. Wet is the ground; white ribbons billow on the trees; soil loosens and opens, swallows and covers; bang, whimper, silence – and peace?
Reverberating within the soldiers’ skulls, thick or thin – (This stifling atmosphere – Drink? Yes, please – To a quiet slumber devoid of fitful dreams) – the spilled blood and deformed bodies plague the minds, with rooms just enough for a few more looming figures of the enemy, screaming, charging, while at home, mothers and wives guarded the windows, waiting, for ever waiting ——
Quivering, wrestling, lost, twisted, trapped, hanging in midair, frozen into icicles, hidden, wasted, shredded, massacred, torn to pieces by machine guns, blown up and across, never a whole – is that Peace?
From the crystal clear pond, fragments fly up and strike at the hearts of men, Pride, Greed, Fear, Courage, Ignorance, Glory. With a fall, glory dissipate, life wringed away. The ephemeral spark extinguished, the circle broken; in the yoke of death, all is lost – gone far, far away, while dust and sand closes in – peace? At last?
Peace – is only the silhouette of Death.
Writhing and tossing, the waves absorb the rays of the dying sun, stained orange and red; the mountain opens its jagged mouth and swallows the remnant light.

| Fresh from the oven...some ramblings that came to mind from too much news-watching and 3 kingdoms-watching... extremely rough...any input, welcome! also pick b/w those words w/ the slashes..which to use which to dismiss
Tsunamis thundering, earthquakes shattering/trembling Fires raging, floods swallowing/overwhelming; Plaques frequent, genocides rampant; How many born, how many die, still an infant? How many kill, how many save, for saving's sake? To wake to sleep, to dream to wake A smile, a whimper, a blinded eye We watch the world go down with a helpless sigh. What did I do, what have I not done? Too many wrongs, and of the useful - none. A pair of hands, a pair of feet, and a cowardly heart, beating weakly in defeat. To sleep to dream, to wake to sleep Exhausted from making promises I know I will not/ cannot keep.

| Why Japan should NOT get on the UN Security Council:
1. They are impenitent for what they did, refused to take responsibility of history. Many senior Japanese officials, including prime ministers, continue to visit the Yasukuni shrine despite the opposition of neighbouring countries who were victims of their atrocities.
2. Japan has been following the US in international policy which takes away the trust from most countries. This shows Japan is still unripe for being a political power.
3. Too eagerly pursuing immediate benefit; such as the expectation of instant return in terms of international politics from short term economic aid to LDCs. Cannot establish trust.
4. Reform within UNSC and amendments of the UN Charter is highly complicated and require two thirds or more UN members' votes. This requires a long time, and probably will not succeed even by 2006.
[US Colin Powell backs Japan's bid for seat in UNSC, but demands that they 're-examine' Article 9 of the Constitution which renounces force as a means of resolving conflicts. There is opposition by a Japanese minister, saying they won't just take out this article simply because US told them to...ha ha ha]
