Wow it's been forever

Not that I really give a damn about this blog anymore, but it seemed appropriate to finalize its demise with a closing epitaph.
About a month ago I had an epiphany. Like that one piece of the puzzle that makes every other piece fall in place, or the one number in the Su Doku that determines all the others, all at once all my questions about myself and life were answered to my complete satisfaction.
It's a good feeling.

Lucidity, at last!

You can download each song individually from these links.

And yes, I already know the vocals need to be boosted.  That will happen approximately whenever I feel like doing it again.  I'm done working on these for now.

Update:
We now have a myspace.  We'd sure feel awfully good if you'd add us.

And now, an update. Why? I don't know.

Alex and I finished our little project for the summer, which has developed into a two-person band named 'Lucidity'.  Having finished my first CD in almost exactly three years, I decided to listen to some of my old stuff in retrospect.  I'll admit - it has a simplistic charm.  But listening to the parts I wrote and comparing them with my new work, I discovered something.  I'm a much, much better composer now.
It was very encouraging.
Lucidity's demo EP, entitled 'Lucent', will be available shortly.  In some form or other.

Just thought I'd share with you an exerpt from my driving course.

"Between 1965 and 1975 the United States was involved in the Vietnam conflict. During those ten years of fighting, about 58,000 Americans lost their lives as a result of the war. During that same ten-year period from 1965 to 1975, 290,000 people died on the roadways of the United States due to impaired drivers."

This is why I didn't react to 9/11, and why I think anti-war protestors are idiots.
