I was trying to hide Yuho's identity, but I think he's okay with being associated with such incredibly nerdy material. Be proud!
I ran into website a little while back which piqued my long-time interest in fonts.
FontStruct is a dynamic, flash-based font builder with a multitude of tools laid at your disposal. It's interface is friendly and clean, and you can get started in seconds.
Normally, I like elaborate but clean fonts, with lots of details in just the right places. I'm strapped for time nowadays though, so I could only create a rough draft of the style I made applied to some numbers.
"Crypto" looks really crappy right now without any touch-ups (it looked so cool on paper too), but visit the site because there are a lot of really creative designs that were made with only the simple tools.
Word of warning though. This is time consuming work!

Oh. Also, before I forget. If anyone is interested in 3D design, DAZ studio 2.0 is now free for download.
So I was briefly chatting with a friend of mine with whom we share many interests. Our discussion eventually brought us on to the topic of the undead. Naturally, the scope of our conversation escalated to fantastical proportions and my friend suggested the idea of a zombie-themed game. Our verbal discourse ended after merely laying down a platform for ideas, but my ferver led me to scrawl charts and lists in my notebook during lunch break. Thus, Zombie Hunt was born.
Synopsis
Zombie Hunt is a variation of laser tag held in a large arena emulating a post-apocalyptic city, with wide streets as well as some confined buildings. All participants are required to wear special armor with sensors attached to vital body parts. Players must wear armor due to the physical aspects of the game. There are no points scored. The round ends when all participants on one team are either dead or have converted.
Humans (Survivors)
"Guns" with limited ammunition
Body armor has sensors
Connects with zombie melee attacks
Critical areas will turn you into a zombie
depletes your hit counter
Melee "baton" to simulate close range attacks
Uses RFID, IR, or a similar sensor to measure proximity of enemy.
Baton made of foam, damage measured from flex caused by impact (pressure sensor).
Free and natural movement
Headshots to zombies yield a direct kill.
Weapons
One range weapon + one melee weapon per "survivor".
High Power, Low Ammo: Sniper Rifle, Shotgun, Assault Rifle
Low Power, High Ammo: Uzi, Pistol, etc.
Melee weapons:

Low attack, High durability: Baseball bat, ?
Zombies
Melee attacks only
Hand sensors
Sensor on helmet facegaurd to simulate "bite"
Attack humans on body sensors
"bite" on body will convert human to zombie
Neck/Shoulder = Instant infection
Torso = 1 minute to infection
Else = 2-3 minutes to infection
Hands and Feet are bound/shackled to simulate slow movement (!)
Zombies can use underground tunnels for simulated increase in zombie population.
Weapons
Zombie players can choose between three different classes based on Speed, Damage, and HP.
SPD - - - DMG - - - HP
Slow - - - -High - - - High
Fast - - - - Low - - - Low
Medium speed zombies have a choice of choosing one High and one Low quality.
Those are all the notes I took while eating. As you can see there are some game aspects that have gone unmentioned, (team size, cheating, shackled players, etc...) but otherwise I feel it's a really solid concept.
What do you guys think?
Now, I just need to find an investor...
NEXT WEEK: Font? More like Fun.... t. But that sounds naughty.
that's the last minute idea Grace and I came up with for Justin's Halloween costume...
ideas that were thrown out the window:
Master Chief (the timing would have been perfect, but this idea is almost impossible to pull off) Most Video Game related characters (Link was already done, and a lot of people won't get it) Lego Man ...
BAH. i'm getting frustrated just thinking about the lost opportunities.
