| I fucking love EUROPEAnother dancing day. I am a bit drunk now, but there is so much fun and it reali recalled my experience of real "cultural diversity" since primary six going to japan for another festival there. People dancing, crazy shouting, people all around the globe, we are all humans, we live because WE ENJOY LIVING in this wonderful planet. we talk because we love to share feelings DEEP DOWN IN HEART. we work because working allows us to REALIZE OUR FULLEST POTENTIAL, we eat because WE ARE BORN TO FEEL THE JOY OF FOOD, we are all HUMAN BEINGS who survive to LIVE AT THE PRESENT.

| OK, I am back.Thanks to the Africa music and Mexico dance tonite, i reali feel I am back.
and thanks to yin's recommendation about the marvelous book 'Gun, Germ and Steel' from Jared Diamond, i have my world view refreshed. People around the globe are 99.5 % genetically identical, and supplement from Diamond's view on the environmental determinism, i now understand why civilization in western Europe (well, America is part of the past European colony as well) is the most advanced, but not Africa, where human walked out from the forest in 10,000 B.C. , or China, where we have the earliest unified political system in 221 B.C.
yeah. it is correct. We are BORN rich, we are BORN as a Chinese, we are BORN by the sea, we are BORN to have a lot of things that are natural consequences from our well beings, from the school, from the family, from the culture. well, i am not saying personal effort does not play a part, but under a macro view, i don't believe in Great Man theory, except for Hilter or Einstein. World is full of randomness, natural selection that shape our history and partly the future. Today, i am Sunny Wong because of the yesterday me, adding some randomness. If anyone asks me about if I have any religion, yeh, i think the nature is the god controlling us, at least from the air we are breathing, the land we are stepping on and the sex, power, love which are all part of the nature system. I dun care who create the world, or who will enter heaven, but one thing to be sure is that ecology, biogeography, history, evolution biology are the real stuff we are dealing with, and nowadays, human are reshaping the nature.
I am now in Griefswald, having a student festival, people here are doing mostly biology, ecology, geography, languages, philosophy, so i still need time to DIGEST their values into mine. Is it a pure coincidence of reading 'Gun, Germ and Steel' and meeting people who are experts 2 days after i finished the book? i dunno, maybe, or it is just by chance, who cares? it is the fun part of life. The world is always waiting for you to be known to your interests and the loved ones, and it is never too late to be yourself.
Opportunities are waiting! I am the only Chinese in this 300 people event, i bet i am going several more! Join me if you are interested...

A funny remark from a German i met today, after introducing i m from HK and she is from germany, the second sentence she said " hey, i have just been to HK! my father is working there for a week so i joined him, it is sooo busy and people working sooo hard during the week and then go shopping in the weekends? but for me, only the nature and my hertige matter. " it is trivially true, but it sinks into my heart when spoken by an outsider.
My fourth Europe expedition is a journey of PEOPLE. Look forward. Excited. Happy. As simple as that.

| Last day @ HKUST My last day is an excellent encapsulation of my 4-year life here, working overnight, on something only ET can understand (i really think engineers are ETs). My life as an engineer ends here with a VLSI design on performing the function z = x * y - c! (OMG, I can do it in a sec, but i had spent 20 hours drawing this stuff!!!!!!) Imagine, you input two integers at some points down there, and you get another integer out at some points also down there, like eating and shiting. 
Again, imagine you have to draw it line-by-line, allowing a bunch of naughty electrons flooding and jumping in some directions you want, you will then realize . . . wtf
