Xanga tells me that it's been 1043 days since I've joined .. that's .. nice to know I guess
So it's been forever since I've updated so let me try and sum up what I've been up to for the past summer: traveling like a mofo for work, Julie's wedding waaay back in June, my other friend Tina's wedding in Montana (BEAUTIFUL!), catching up with the Food Network as always, kickboxing my ass off, hanging out with friends in Socal while making trips here and there to Norcal to visit my sisters and buddies, took surf lessons (STILL haven't gotten around to buying a wetsuit, but I'm getting there.. ), catching up on my reading (currently: my old Chinese text books of all things, ..yeah, it's sad isn't it? Just trying to hold on to what little Chinese knowledge I still have ok?!?), and of course, gabbing on the phone with Tony and counting down the days until I get to see him again (for those of you who would like to count down with me, it's 24 days from now).
So there you have it, my life in a nut shell. It's almost autumn which means shorter days I hate leaving work when it's all dark outside, it's so depressing!! I swear summer just started .. where did the time go?
Since I'm sure no one really reads this crap anyway, I'll just post some pictures. Enjoy and keep in touch!
Tina's wedding at Chico Hot Springs in Montana: I've known this lady since we were tiny kids and have had some wonderful memories together with traveling with our families and just being wild and stupid kids. Her wedding was over 4th of July weekend and everything was perfect! The weather (notwithstanding some sprinkles of rain) was nice, they had good food and music. It was truly a weekend well spent with family who are friends, and friends who are family!

^ I grew up with these ladies, too and Tina's wedding was the best place to get reacquainted with them. That's Bonnie in the middle (she's off to France for 9 months to teach English! Bon voyage!) and Angie on the right (fellow bridesmaid at Tina's wedding and she's in New York, just graduated with her masters in Writing at NYU).

^ Me and Tina, the lovely bride who had the most gorgeous dress.. no joke! It was something I would have picked out for myself

^ Dude, watch the hair, Daddio! Yes, he's trying to wrestle me.. at least this was after the ceremony!

^ Quite the fobby pair, dontcha think? That's Tony and my mom

^ Damn I look tired! A whole day of hair and make up can really take it out of you shooooot!
NEXT UP: I (OF COURSE!!!) went to the Destiny's Child concert a few weeks back when they were in LA. Oh god, it was like the best concert I've ever been to! They were so beeeeautiful! Here are a few modest pictures:

^ Winnie, myself, and Vivian before the concert at Fox Sports Grill - god, I have cheesy smile on my face. You know why? Cause I'm about to see DESTINY'S CHILD BABY!! Ok, yes, I'm a dork ..

Now, in between watching the Food Network and reality TV, I do have time to go out with friends and kick it! This past weekend my buddy CP threw an apartment warming we'll never let him forget ...

^ This is so wrong people! Writing on poor, drunk CP .. wait, who tatted aKDPhi on him?
AND the very next day, I hosted a bridal shower for my cousin, Jean, who's getting hitched next month!

^ Dude, is this not the most AWESOME cake you've ever seen?!? And it was chocolate mocha inside too! YUM! Her theme was a "Beauty Shop" (because she's the biggest make up junkie I know), so that's where the concept of this cake came in

^ That's Annie, my cousin and myself - Annie and me are going to be her bridesmaids along with my other cousin, Joanna, who was a major JERK and couldn't make it to the shower, haha
That's it folks! Until next time.. in another 6 months? Cool |
